We drove from Narvik and were running late for dinner. No problem! A quick phone call with the staff assured us we were not going to starve. Food was good. Very friendly and cooperative staff. We got a nice room overlooking the harbor. Small, clean room without TV, but we didn't come here to watch tv, did we! This is... More

Stayed in a first floor room overlooking the harbor channel. The room was spacious with two comfortable chairs by the window to enjoy the view. The bathroom was a decent size. Only downside was the minature TV and two twin beds pushed together for a double but they were comfortable. The internet was reliable and fast. The hotel common areas... More

Nice view, but only if towards ocean. Very basic breakfast and restaurant. Understaffed and unqualified, but friendly personnel. No lift. Dirty shower with dirty shower curtain. (The curtain should have been changed.) Small TV with analogue connection. (A bad joke.) Unusually poor room service/cleaning. Incredably messy table cloth on breakfast table, (Had to ask to have it changed.) ---Nevertheless: The... More

Really nice, cosy, beautiful and peaceful hotel in one of the most charming towns of Lofoten, Henningsvaer. The rooms are excellent (cleans, with a comfortable bed and a fully equipped bathroom) and the service, very friendly. It also has a good restaurant, with a good price/quality menu. The breakfast is generous. To be recommended. The only cons: we didn't have... More

This hotel was a gem: outstanding staff and perfect facilities in a wonderful town. I cannot give more praise to the staff of this establishment. If you ever find yourself in Lofoten do yourself a favor and spend a night here.

allthough beautifully located in the nice town of henningsvaer the Bryggehotel is not very special. The price of the rooms is far too high for the level of comfort, the size, and certainly the view... Breakfast is very sloppy, trying to cut your on bread on a broken bread plank, bread missing for quit some time before being replenished. Lots... More

Rented the rorbu through the hotel. Located close by the hotel, by water but not with ocean view. Very simple standards as expected as these types of "huts" originally was used as simple, seasonal fisherman's cabins. Price was NOK 1100,- per night including bed sheets, towels and cleaning. Breakfast at hotel not included but could be bought separate. Had the... More

This refers particularly to the destination. Henningsvaer is an artists haven. The light is magical. But there is more than just a picturesque harbour. A walk from the car park will lead out to the windswept headland. Bryggehotell is the main accommodation but there are also several fine restaurants. Henningsvaer is just 20 minutes drive from Svolvaer.
