The hotel's location is beautiful, overlooking the sea. However, it's a bit far away from the center of Henningsvaer, at a 15 minutes walk. Our room was comfortable and very clean, and looked new or recently renovated, with gorgeous old wooden furniture. Tip: ask for a room facing the sea for a better view. Wi-Fi Internet was fast and reliable.... More

We spent two nights at Finnholmen and this small B&B hotel was a pleasant surprise. Accomodation in Lofoten is really a expensive during the summer season, but the price at Finnholmen was reasonable. The rooms are small and simple, but comfortable enough. The bathroom floor got flooded while taking a shower and we had to use our towels to wipe... More

We did not stay here as were were travelling in a camper, but enjoyed a bowl of amazing fish stew and a whale teller in the restaurant. The owners are friendly and well informed, we enjoyed a wonderful concersation and tips for seeing the area. Cannot recommend this place enough - Thank you guys for a wonderful interlude, in a... This hotel was a pleasant surprice making a late booking in the middle of highseason. Simple but comfortable rooms, (the rooms facing the "non-village" side had morning sun and seemed to be cooler during night) nice and friendly owner and we had the best meal in Henningsvær in the restarant (the fishsoup). The outdoors deck was great in the mornings... More

Nice little hotel. Very friendly owner. Nicely decorated with fishing paraphernalia. The room was comfy and clean but really tiny - barely enough room for two backpacks. Wifi included. Breakfast was okay, but not as good or extensive as other places we'd stayed. It's a bit of a walk/drive from the main part of town, but it's a lovely walk... More

We stayed at Finnholmen based on previous comments here and were well advised. The rooms are basic, but cozy and clean. The family running the place is very attentive and friendly. Finnholmen is situated on the far end of the quai. However, the stroll to Henningsvaer's "center" is short and pleasant. The only thing missing were blinds for the windows... More

Henningsvaer is a stunning place, really amazing at midsummer. This is a pretty good lodging choice (we came because Henningsvaer Bryggehotel was full and were glad it was). We had an excellent stay in this old whaling station across the harbour. The room was basic, and the staff were inexperienced (mostly students on summer holiday), but the breakfasts were very... This really is one of the most beautiful villages in the Lofoten Islands, and Finnholmen Brygge is a great place to stay. You have to make a u-shaped circuit of the village to get to the hotel, but it's worth the short trip! Right on the waterfront, the hotel's restaurant is a great hub, with a terrace overlooking the harbour,... More
