Nice room (532), with large balcony, quiet air conditioning, good mattress and well maintained by friendly staff. Every day clean towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel. Many storage, flat screen TV, no internet. Beautifully maintained pool, many free sun beds and parasols, a pool bar, in the afternoon tasty dishes. Delicious restaurant where Anna and her staff provide a perfect and... More

I will tend to agree with some other reviewers in the sense that the rooms may be in need of some revamp, however this is a pretty good hotel. I stayed here with the family (2 adults and a 2 year old), on a B&B basis, even though we ended up eating lunch onsite almost every day. The room was... More

Not a 4 star the hotel and rooms need a revamp, we had what they called a family room. Very shabby doors falling apart decor tatty. The rooms were kept clean tho and suggest going B&B as the food is not the best the dining room can not cope with the amount of people queuing.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Kresten Palace as a family with 2 children and a baby. We stayed at the same time as the other recent reviews and our experience was very different to theirs. The night we arrived we were transferred to the Kresten Royal but this was a pleasant surprise for us... More

arrived early hours to be told the hotel had overbooked so we would be given a room at sister hotel then staff and room were fabulous so we were not to unhappy with the situation until we arrived at the kresten palace the next day and told that we had been upgraded to a sea view to compensate......the room and... First of all the hotel is not 4+ stars, I would say it’s 3. The first day we stacked in our room, we just couldn’t get to. Maintenance was sent and it took over 40 minutes to get out. The door lock was changed and it worked only for a day. The second day, we stacked in again and a... More

Arriving late on a Sunday evening, we checked in very quick and was shown to our room, it was not the room I had booked and also the air conditioning was not working, so after a very long day we did not sleep as it was too hot. I complained to the reception the next day regarding both issues. The... More

On appearances hotel looks 4 star but after entering the dinning room I would say 3 star, food very bland not enough staff, dirty tables and very unorganised. And breakfast was poor dinner terrible and evening meal if you arrive when the doors open at 6.30 you may get some hot food, food in rhodes very nice lots of taverns... More

I have recently returned from the kresten palace and I was disasapointed with the standard of the food.It was never hot and there was not very much choice. The only time I ate well was when we visited Rhodes town-some excellent restaurants there. They always seemed to run out of plates, cups and utensils regularly and it appeared that there was not... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2015

Stayed at Kresten Palace for 2 weeks in July, all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Pool area was lovely and plenty of sunbeds. Snack bar food was very tasty, hot food and salads available. Entertainment poor in the evening was like something from the 70's, needed something for the younger generation, but WiFi was available in the reception... More
