I'm a repeat customer here. I think I've stayed 5 times over the years, most recently Nov-13 before this stay in Feb-14. Why do I keep coming back? It's location is good and the staff are usually pretty good in a Fawlty Towers kind of way. As per other comments it has definitely deteriorated over the years and is in... More

All, beware. The pictures on their site must have been taken 20 years ago!!! This has got to be false advertising at it's best. The only way to describe this hotel is that they are surely running it down to close very soon to re-build it. The rooms look like they are unfinished from day one. The bathroom was falling... More

We stayed here before in April 2011, cheap and cheerful. Outside buildings run down, Deluxe room was ok (2011) We reserved 2 deluxe rooms (they only have 4) March 2013 and paid 30% deposit with Dirk Scharmer (manager) for our stay Christmas/New Year 2013/14. Upon arrival we were asked for cash upfront, we were told Dirk had left in August... More

I booked into this "resort" on a walk-in basis in early September (2013). It was low season, so when they quoted me a price of 1,200 baht, I was able to negotiate down to 1,000 baht without any problem (without breakfast). I was impressed with the location. It was on the street paralleling the beach in Lamai, and access to... More

Having published quite a few reviews on trip advisor I have been lucky enough to have never had to rate a hotel as terrible before, until now. We booked this hotel for one night as a problem with a previous hotel meant we needed somewhere to stay at short notice, upon arriving at the hotel the check in area /... More

Main building is very close to the busy road...so very noisy in the night! Rooms and the restaurant needs renovation! The restaurant and the infinity pool have a great view...This place needs a bit of investment...We changed hotel after 3 days! Went to Coconut beach Resort and we got much better value for less money...and much centre location

At first the hotel seems decent, then you settle in and realize not so much. We were in two different rooms on our two night stay. Found it odd someone would reserve a specific room. The first one was comfortable, albeit with strangely painted concrete walls and what appeared to be blood droplets on the floor (seems as though it... More

This hotel is still worth the price. We did have a special price of 1250 THB per night so that helps of course. Most of the rooms needs redecoration. (If not all) The railings on the terrace was in a really dangerous condition and needs immediate replacement. (We stayed in the main building). But the beds are good and Golden... More

Booked into one of the Chalets - had to move after one night. The room was dirty, practically falling to pieces with daylight coming through holes in the bathroom roof, mouldy, terribly furnished (no cupboards, we had to keep everything in the suitcases). It was full of mosquitos as it was impossible to block up the holes. The shower was... More
