This was a lovely stay in a friendly small hotel not fancy but very comfortable very comfortable andreal Thai.Positioned right on the beach at Lamui. The beach is lovely and not the busy end but near the village attraction if required. The staff are brilliant always smiling and hard working. You can eat from the restaurant at tables on the... Our room was clean, tidy and well equipped. There's no tea, only coffee and they give the usual complimentary water. The restaurant area is very basic, it's quite sparse and not much care is given to appearance. In the evenings they set up as a restaurant on the beach which with the help of some lighting looks quite effective. We... More

We were only there for a quick night before jumping off to the islands, but I had no complaints. We stayed in one of the villas and really enjoyed it. The garden setting was lovely and a nice walk through all the lush plants and trees. The beach is easily accessible and I had a great swim at dawn with... More

We stayed for 10 nights at Samui Sense in a Pool Villa room. It was our second stay at Samui Sense and our 6th in Lamai. We now have an infant so chose this hotel rather than the bungalows where we normally stay. Our decision was based on Samui Sense having direct beach access and knowing we could get a... More

Lovely place to stay. We stayed for 2 weeks and loved every minute. Clean cool rooms. We stayed in the Thai Bungalows and even though were dark you can always leave the lights on. Very friendly and polite staff. Could not be more helpful. Free buffet breakfast, well stocked and fresh. Beautiful gardens like an oasis. Free WIFI in rooms.... More

Great place to stay- thoroughly enjoyed 2 nights there in June. Right on the beautiful beach, sea here is absolutely wonderful! Not like Koh Phangan- you can actually swim in blue waters!! Rooms were brilliant, nice bathrooms and bed was big. Very helpful and friendly front staff! There is a great bar next door to the hotel called Mynt Bar-... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in early May 2014 in a Junior Suite. Reception staff were very helpful and courteous. The room itself was on the first floor with a large balcony, sitting room and separated bedroom. The mattress was on the floor which was a little unusual but we didn't find it uncomfortable as some previous reviews seemed to... More
