The staff has under medium english skills, my first room had mold in it, the wifi is unstable(not possible to stream or work remote), the staff was rude to me on two different occasions, and the janitor has left the building.

I stayed at Samui Sense for a week in December 2015 and would go back. It's conveniently located on both the road and the beach (the two are disconnected and sometimes difficult to access). The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very helpful. I also liked the location in Lamai, towards the quieter end of the beach... More

Although we didn't stay in the hotel, we did waste away a very relaxing and enjoyable afternoon here (on the sun loungers on the beach). All cocktails are 118B during happy hour (massive selection!) and the food is divine! We had crab, squid and pork fried rice - all of which was incredible! The hotel is well positioned and the... We stayed in a Junior suite with my family and we had our own balcony and i have to say it was very nice . The room was clean and spacious it was maintained everyday by the lovely cleaners. The resort it self is located in a fantastic spot literally right on the beach and right near the shops and... More

I found room rates for under AUD400 for 4 nights inc breakfast using a search engine. This turned out to be good value. It's clean, handy to all restaurants and shops, and has day bed service, including cushioned lounges under a nice shady tree, where it is nice to hang out for a whole day. The hotel room was small... We visited the sense for a family vacation, 2 adults and 2 kids. We booked the bigger rooms, in the main building. Rooms are very big and can easily fit 3 adults or a family of 4. Parents have a separated section which was great. The resort is a 2 min walk from the central street of lamai beach for... More

This place is overpriced for what it is, the rooms are not clean, ie back of curtains are mouldy, every sheet put on our bed had some stain on it as did several of the towels, our toilet seat was broken in two places one crack across where you sat very unhygienic, dust and cobwebs all around the place. We... More

We had what was probably the cheapest room , upstairs , opposite side to the pool , it was the smallest room I have ever stayed in in thailand, very dark with 1 tiny window, you need lights on in daytime , with no balcony . That probably ruined our memory of staying here . The room was a bit... More

Fabulous location. Yummy breakkie at sunrise. Don't buy the drinks - ridiculous prices for basic mango shakes - at least 3 times anywhere else. I dont think I will stay there again, just a bit too impersonal for me.

Enjoyed our week at Samui sense. Confused why some comments say miserable staff, as we found the staff to be lovely as all Thai folk are. If you ignore folk like they are not even there, then what do you expect, speak to people and have a laugh with them and you will get good responses back. We had good... More
