Samui Sense is in the middle of fairly extensive renovations - and the original areas were looking tired. They are doing a good job of renewing and it's clear to see that it will be an improvement once it's all finished. The problem of course is discovering all this renovation after you've arrived! Initially our room was next door to... More

Stayed for 1 week in July for a friends wedding on the island. Chose Samui Sense for location in Lamai and great price. Service is wonderful, staff can't do enough to help you and the breakfast is great. Rooms are average size but bathrooms are big. The hotel has sun loungers on the beach and provides towels. At night, you... More

This hotel used to be the Galaxy Resort. Then as is the story of Samui, using expensive ground for budget places is not on. So it has been revamped almost beyond recognition. At 3000 baht, it isn't cheap for what it is. The room was small but very well appointed with quality furnishings. Breakfast was OK. Meals in the restaurant... More

We had a wonderful trip to Samui Sense Beach Resort. The place is bit far from the Koh Samui airport. They would ask for 500 baht for a single side journey. Lamai is the second largest beach on Koh Samui. It is centrally located in Lamai Beach with the market area few minutes walking. Few attractions like Grandfather & Grandmother... More

Stayed at Samui Sense in October/November after reading the reviews, and although we enjoyed our stay, we do in the main agree that this hotel does have potential, but unfortunately it appears that owners have let the place run down to a certain degree. First off, calling itself a “resort” is not really true – it is a hotel first... More

We stayed here for 2 weeks in March and have no complaints. We were met at the Airport by the driver who took us to the hotel in a modern and more importantly air conditioned people carrier and when we arrived at the hotel we were made welcome by friendly staff and a nice cold towel and fruit cocktail. We... More

We booked in for 7 nights, ended up staying for 1 night.... Firstly lets say that the service here is exceptional. Beautiful people who will go out of their way to help you.. We got a seaview room for 3200 baht per night. As we are not big drinkers at night we usually want Cable TV or a DVD player.... More
