We stayed here over the xmas period and had two huts as our children were meeting us there. Although not an unpleasant experience we found the attitude of staff totally indifferent and quite frankly not attentive in any way. We were most shocked when other visitors discovered they had bedbugs (we saw evidence of this) and the hotel staff were... More

We have stayed 3 times now at the Lamai Bay View resort in Koh Samui. Accommodation - We stayed in bungalow 402, which is very close to the beach and has unspoilt views across Lamai Bay, which is really beautiful and a joy to wake up to. Staff - The staff were always very polite and extremely helpful to us,... More

I personally would not stay again at Lamai Bay View Resort. The staff were friendly enough however the rooms need much improvement. Could feel the springs in the bed and the water pressure in the shower wasn't great. Ordered a few times off the menu and again very average. Would rate this resort as 2 stars at best. Okay for... My friend and I stayed at this resort over Christmas and realised we were being bitten by bedbugs, then we caught one in the bed. We discretely told the hotel staff and they provided an alternative room. We asked for bedbug spray for our luggage/belongings and assumed our previous room would be treated. When we were given ant/cockroach spray we... More

The best view of this hotel is from down below in the sea from where some of the bungalows can be seen dotted on the hillside in a classic, individual, thatched design. The site is not for the physically challenged as some of the lowest bungalows, close to the sea, have steep steps leading down to them. We were lucky... More

The check-in staff were some of the friendliest people and are welcome experience was great, but in my opinion that's where it ended. The room was so small and did not have an "ocean view" as promised. The bed was hard and fairly uncomfortable but the bathroom was fairly clean and a decent size. The room was locked with a... More

We picked this place thanks to trip advisor once again, we wanted the beach bungalow experience that was quiet yet close to town if we wanted to go there. The bungalow we had was ensuite air con and we paid more to have a sea view, which we feel was really worth it. The view was amazing and you have... More

We stayed at this hotel in August 2014 for 3 nights. The bungalow is small but nice and clean. No wardrobe witch is bit annoying. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was poor. They have kaick to be rented free for one hour. The beach is small and very nice. No snorkeling possible, the sea level is very small. You go far... More

Stayed here for 5 days and had a really relaxing stay, however there were a few areas that could of been improved. We upgraded to an AC room, and in am glad we did as the room was really warm when we only used the ceiling fan. Okay so the resort is located on the South of the Island, in... More
