Lamai Bay View is a real hidden gem at the most northern end of Lamai Beach. We came across this lovely small bungalow hotel when staying at the Renaissance Hotel just next door which offers the same scenery and beach - just way more expensive. The hotel offers good size bungalows that all sport a spectacular view over the private... More

Beautiful isolated beach, surprisingly good food with average bungalows. We really loved how quiet and secluded we felt. We basically had the beach to ourselves, although, as the name entails, it's more like a bay with the water only ever being waist deep. The deeper water is closer to the wild city strips. To take the hotel taxi to Lamai... More

Fantastic quiet piece of paradise in Lamai. Rent scooters and tour the entire island from this safe cozy location. Pat and Gung, two sisters do an amazing job insuring that guests are happy. We have stayed here three times and will definitely return. Breakfasts are simple, omelettes, eggs made to order, fresh fruit, breads, etc. The small pool is always sparkling... More

We stayed in a Seaview bungalow for 8 nights. The bungalow was spacious but a bit worn out. The "seaview" was very small and through other bungalows and trees... The resort area and surroundings was nice and quiet. A beautiful small beach but tou can not swim or snorkeling because the water is very shallow - only about 50 cm.... More

I spent 5 days in Lamai Bay View Resort on January 2014. The bungalows are quite small for two but most of them have a spectacular view being in the mountains, with a veranda and chairs to sit and admire the sunset. The breakfast is a buffet which you can take on the terrace face to the sea. The staff... More

However it is an ideal place to see he bay on nye as i did with all the fireworks. THe staff are incredibly friendly and really good to help. The view are amazing though people wiht... More

Getting to Lamai when arriving at Samui ferry port will cost you 5-700 bath by taxi, no way arround it. On mainland Thailand this would be a lot less. Making reservations was a problematic experience. After calling 3 times and emailing I got a resonse we had a room. When we arrived there was no trace of a reservation... The... More

This is the perfect chill-out location. A secluded natural setting with tropical gardens and a small private beach of white powdery sand. Smooth granite boulders and palm trees provided a film-set backdrop for our holiday photos. We soon fell under the spell of this place and had to drag ourselves away to go sight-seeing. The attentive owners and staff work... More

We enjoyed our stay at Lamai Bay View Resort, but we are a very resilient traveling family. We stayed for seven days and the price was very reasonable, but we had a couple of issues. The first being that we lost hot water for two days. Now you would think that it would't be that important to have hot water... More
