Location: If you arrive at the port of Katapola Rania picks you up. You ahve to go a little left if you exit the ferry, and there are several hoteliers picking guests up or offers rooms. Rania will take you by car to the rooms wich are 300m away. You have to climb up the hill 100 meters by foot.... More

It sounds creazy but we have been staying in this lovely hotel for more than 15 years. Every year we feel like coming home here. Rania is a great host and she takes time for every one of her guest. We really love the calm of the season in September. The climate is pleasant. There are still a lot of... More

We've just been back for the ?eighth time and are delighted as usual. We were here for our honeymoon too. Great view (plenty of shade/sun on terraces depending on the time of day), very clean, everything works. A little touch of luxury and personality too - which makes it stand out. Ourania who runs it is very friendly and practical... More

Conveniently situated but far enough from the port to avoid the noise. Very comfortable room with excellent mattress. Nice breakfast on the terrace with nice view to the port. Importantly, terraces are thus constructed to allow for privacy. Very nice owner (who also runs the best restaurant in the town). Highly recommended.

We spent a week at Diosmarini in August with my wife and 3 of our children. Ourania, the owner is a charming greek lady, with a genuine sense of hospitality. One of our boy fall sick and she managed to get the only doctor (yes there is one doctor in the entire island) at our room in the next 2... More

We spent 9 days in katapola and ate 6 days at Diosmarini's. I believe that says it all. Food is great. You will find a small menu, with mainly greek specialties: apetizers based on cheese, honey and typical sauces, greek salads, fresh fish and meat. Portions are very generous so be careful not to order to much or you'll not... More

We stayed at one of the four apartments - the view was breath taking and the room amazing, brand new, minimal and very stylish. Big with its own kitchen and balcony, we had the greatest time there. Very clean, they changed the towels very often. Rania, the owner and Jannis, her husband, are complete sweethearts, we really love them and... More

we are staying in this hotel every year and this for thirteen years on a row. We love to comeback because of the super atmosphere. We have made friends there for live. Italian, Norwegian, Swiss friends. Thanks to the lovely owner Rania, who creates such an atmosphere. She helps you out with all your little or big problems such as... More

For 35 euros/night ours was a great room: great sea view from our very private balcony, where we had breakfast and dinner most days. The room has minimal but v useful kitchenette, and Rania will provide more dishes on request. It was hard making this reservation: had to call 4 or 5 days in a row before I got thru... More

We went to Amorgos 2 years in a row, and both times we have stayed at Diosmarini. This summer, we arrived at 4 in the morning off the Blue Star and Rania was already down at the port to great us. She is wonderful, really accomodating, and takes great care of the hotel. The view from the rooms of Katapola... More
