In Greece, we stayed in Athens, Crete, Sifnos, and Mykanos: so, we experienced a wide varity of hotels/settings. Thus, I can honestly say that while Naxos (the island) is lovely (especially the Agios Prokopios and Anna beaches), THIS HOTEL IS TERRIBLE. Where do I start? The most aggravating thing about it, is the FALSE ADVERTISING on the hotel's website. The... more

This hotel is very old and run down and is in the middle of nowehere. The hotel markets itself as being on the beach, however it only over looks the beach (it sits on a huge hill) and the beach you can walk down to is apparently one of the worse beaches on Naxos. It was really windy and an... more

The hotel itself was lovely, the staff were really friendly, the breakfast was delicious, there is a tennis court - which doesn't seem to be mentioned in any of the literature, and was a bonus - and the pool was nice. However, none of what we read before we stayed there, regarding the local area, seemed to be true. It's... more

This hotel is quiet, some rooms have a wonderful view over the town & port but this place is not in the town. Rooms are split in 2 a bedroom & small living with cooking facilities. Breakfast is included. It is about 20 mins easy walk to the most beautiful beach where one can rent 2 lounge chairs & shade... more

Naxos seems to be the budget option when it comes to the Greek Islands and as such we couldn't find a true high end hotel. We opted to the Naxos beach 2 because we wanted a beach close to us and they share a beach with a couple of other hotels in the area. The hotel sits on a bluff... more

Naxos Beach 2 can definately be recommended for travelers with children. First we were shown to a room that was definately not suiteable for a family of 4, but there was luckely no problem in changing room, which also gives this hotel an extra point. The service is excellent and the staff always smiling and helpfull. The nearby beach (Stelida)... more

We stayed in the Naxos Beach II for our first trip to Greece together. From the moment we arrived at this little hamlet tucked away on the side of a rocky hill facing the ocean, we knew this hotel was special. It resembled a little village with each guest room its own rock-carved building, with big green doors and giant,... more

We stayed there this October (2006). Our room was sweet, as is Naxos, but we had problems with the hotel and, worst of all, there was no management around to respond to our leggitimate concerns. Just two staff members were working the whole weekend, a cook and a bell-hop\waiter. Internet wasn't working, nor was our room phone. We couldn't have... more

I would have given this hotel an "excellent" rating except they forgot to give me back my passport when I checked out, and I had a flight from Athens back home the next day. I felt it was their responsibility to give me back my passport, especially since they took it for the duration of my stay. They were nice... more

This is a lovely and isolated bungalow complex halfway between the Chora and Agios Prokopius. Each bungalow has a sitting area with couch/daybed, table and kitchentte, along with a separate sleeping room and balcony (of course a WC too!). Even when people are in the rooms next to/above or below you, the setup is just right to give you a... more
