Our honeymoon at Chryssana Beach lasted two weeks, during which time we travelled across to other Greek Islands. The hotel is around a mile outside Kolymbari centre, but we enjoyed the walk to and from the restaurants on the pretty promenade. The area is typically Greek and the restaurants hang octpus on the lines outside- something i haven't seen in... More

This was certainly a luxury hotel with beautiful grounds and pleasant obliging staff. Maybe it was because it was the end of the season or perhaps because it was a little isolated but we felt it was lacking in atmosphere. The service in the evening was slow and there was little choice on the menu. By contrast, breakfast had a... More

I travelled to crete in beginning of october and it was VERY windy at this part of the island I must say. The good bits were the hotel and pool area was lovely - beautiful garden, great service from staff who was keen to help us with day trips, if you needed anything they were always there to help, breakfast... We stayed 11 - 22 October 2013, room 117. Hired a car from Chania airport. Hotel is set in nice gardens, close to pebble beach. There are no other intruding hotels close, only a half finished cafe, which was not open. Staff friendly and helpful. Public areas clean. Bedroom kept clean with regular change of sheets and towels. Pool is... More

I spent a week here in July and it was lovely. Great rooms ovelooking the sea/pool and very clean. The breakfast is fantasic with a huge range of hot and cold foods to choose from, both English and Greek. The hotel has a luxury feel about it and is very well-maintained with friendly staff.

I have just returned from a 10 day stay at this lovely hotel with my partner. It has to be one the most chilled out and relaxing hotels I have ever stayed in. Very clean, calm and beautiful. The staff were lovely and very hospitable. The location was perfect for us - close enough to the nearest harbour town of... More

We recently stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. It was situated in a perfect location for us within a 15 minute walk of Kolymbari harbour and taverns. Mylo and Palioarhontiko were our favourite restaurants. Mylo does a great cappuccino latte! Chania Old Town is also worth a visit if you have a car. We stayed in a superior double... More

My wife & I together with close friends have just returned from a 2 week September stay. The hotel & facilities make for a comfortable & relaxing stay with quality service being the key ingredient. All of the staff, without exception, were first class & could not do enough to make us welcome. Added bonus was free use of Hotel... More

Not one to normally write reviews but feel this place is worth it. I wanted a week away of sun, rest and no bother, this hotel definitely delivered. It's located about 40 mins from the airport (€50 taxi) and about a 10-15 walk along the sea to the v small main town with around 7/8 excellent restaurants. The staff are... More

We stayed at the Chryssana, during the first week of September 2013, for our honeymoon. It was the perfect antidote for the previous weeks of stress! The hotel is well looked after: the rooms are of a reasonable size (we had a standard double) with air-con, TV, fridge and telephone; the balcony has a sea-view and also overlooks the beautiful...
