We stayed for two weeks in October and from the outset were delighted with our experience. The hotel, which was once a farmhouse, is intimate and boutique in style. The rooms are comfortable, simply but tastefully furnished, and retain their authenticity and an original look. A major plus is the provision of facilities to make hot drinks! The choice of... More

Disappointingly, we would agree with some of the more negative reviews to-date. While Elia enjoys a beautiful position in a secluded, olive-grove setting with fabulous views, simple but good food, and a great pool, we just didn't feel that guests were treated in a way befitting these kind of rates. The room was quite dark, cheaply furnished, with temporary fixes... More

I make it a point never to respond to personal opinions as everyone is entitled to their own and are hotel does not suit everyone so I will only respond to half of this review. However I do find it necessary however to respond to negative comments concerning inaccurate facts and referring to the prices we have charged other guests... More

We stayed for 3 days in September this year, and wished we had booked for a longer stay, so we have booked for 5 days next year! I don't really need to say any more do I? The atmosphere is more like a country house than an hotel, service is friendly and efficient. Food is excellent, accommodation is fine, not... More

Far from crowded places, hidden in the mountains in a fantastic surrounding, but only 10 minutes away from Kolymbari you will find quietness, rest and a very friendly service. They do everything they can to offer you a pleasant stay. Rooms are clean and good furnished. Evening dinner has to be ordered at breakfast and everyone has the same food,... More

Having booked on the basis of previous reviews I was extremely excited to be staying at Elia Hotel & Spa - it looked like a real haven. The location itself and accompanying views were absolutely beautiful - a real asset for the hotel. However, I found the grounds and facilities themselves to be a little run down and rather substandard.... More

We spent two weeks here from the 2nd to the 16th September. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed and we had a relaxing time in peaceful surroundings in luxurious accommodation. Our host Jo was knowledgeable about local walks, and the chef was good and nice to talk to. The size of the place meant that you... More

Had a truly wonderful week in this gem of a Hotel Elia.. Charming, tranquil and full of character, set within secluded lush gardens with stunning views across the island. We really felt at home thanks to the personal attention from the staff, but also the respect for personal space and relaxation to please yourself, eat when you want and to... More

Don't tell too many people, but this is a fantastic place! Peaceful and quiet on a hill, surrounded bij fruit trees and olive trees. With many lovely seats around the place, hammocks, a wonderful pool, a terrace up on the roof with splendid views and a lovely staff. A home away from home, once you've entered, you don't want to... We have just spent a week in this delightful hotel. It is set in the middle of an olive grove on the side of a hill with views towards the sea. There are only 9 rooms in this converted family farmhouse, and our room was one of the oldest in the house. It was a rather dark room with traditional... More

We have just spent a week at Elia for an 80th birthday celebration with extended family aged 10 to 80. The hotel could not have been more welcoming and helpful and felt like a real home from home. We loved: - the view to the sea from the beautiful swimming pool - the wonderful extended breakfast including freshly squeezed orange... More
