We had the pleasure of spending two nights at Saracca during a recent wine and foodie trip to Langhe. The owner, Giulio, was incredibly hospitable, giving us the grand tour showing all six very unique rooms, and allowing us to choose our accommodations (we chose the Crystal Room). This is probably the most unique and incredible place we have ever... More

This restaurant is set into the mountain, it is on several different levels with tables on different mezzanines. The food was outstanding and the wine list more like a novel! Service was a little slow, but they did have serval flight of stairs to climb!

This is one of the most unique Inn's that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Personal attention in every detail has gone into this property. The owner, Giulio, has created a different kind of retreat from the norm. Very Personalized service .. simple luxuries to be found throughout the property and a warm cozy inviting atmosphere from... Contrast between old stone and well thought out modern Italian design. Where else could you find a modern motion activated faucet draining into an old stone channel, or a hollowed log as a sink. Service was excellent. Fun wine bar and restaurant. Hilltop village in the wine country. Outdoor cycling adventure and a summer jazz festival.

Le Case della Saracca is unique and wonderful in so many ways. My friends and I have stayed there 3 of the past 5 years, and plan to go back next year. The inn itself is a fun mix of medieval and modern. You feel as if you are staying in the basement of an ancient castle, which to a... More

This six room lodging in buildings going back as much as a thousand years was the outstanding find of this and several other trips to Italy. The combination of ancient stone buildings with high style glass walkways and steelwork is stunning and fascinating. The owner, Giulio, was very gracious and welcoming and also runs a fine, small, reasonable restaurant and... More

We've been to Le Case della Saracca many times for drinks and dinner, but never stayed there before. We went with friends this time and thought it would be good to try the accommodation. We weren't disappointed. The rooms are all individually designed and furnished. Well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and jams. The fridge is full... More

The most amazing hotel experience ever. In a tiny alley in this pittoresque village, you'll find three houses next to each other which looks more like they will fall down in a short while, but when moving indoors you're speechless. Inside this unique building there i s just six rooms, but all different styled and classy. And the small grotto-like... More

We chanced upon this lovely wine bar in this out-of-the-way spot a few years ago and were so impressed with the wine, food and ambiance that when we returned this summer, we stayed at the inn for 2 nights. It is close to all the wineries in the Barolo region. This is a renovated medieval building with spacious rooms and... More

What a traveler's paradise. Tucked into a hillside cranny off a narrow village street, this place was an awesome surprise that includes monastery-like digs accompanied by glass pathways to allow one to see the almost archeological foundations. The spot also has an EXCELLENT restaurant and bar with international night life in an intimate setting. Giulio is extremely hospitable and made... More
