During a recent 3 night stay at Hotel Acquaviva del Garda we were faced with nothing but endless rules and restrictions. Can we have an Iron to the room please? No, because apparently it's a health and safety risk and in the Receptionists words, "you could burn yourself". Can we just relax by the outdoor pool and enjoy the sunset?... More

This is a very nice and comfortable hotel except that the hotel imposes some idiosyncratic rules:- 1) No self-made coffee in your room (kettles are a fire risk !!) 2) No swimming in the hotel pool at temperatures of less than 18ºC (risk of hypothermia!!) 3) No WiFi if they are holding a conference - it breaks their download limit!!

I had high hopes for Acquaviva del Garda after reading the online reviews. I was disappointed from the start. This is hotel has so much potential, but is not yet a four star hotel. If you are looking for a place to just relax and use the spa then this is a great hotel. The grounds are beautiful, and the... More

Currently enjoying a relaxing in this very well run hotel. Staff have been charming, helpful and responsive to all requests. The hotel provides a wide range of facilities, is very clean and good food. The hotel is a good 30 minute walk from the centre of Disenzano or 10 minutes by bus/ taxi. The private beach and facilities are really... More

Leaving chaotic Venice to Acquaviva was a blessing. This is truly a beautiful peaceful place. Everything on this site was so peaceful. The private sunbathing area by the lake and the pool were the highlight of my trip. I did not use the spa so i can not comment on that. The staff was very nice. I arrived early and... More

We was fortunate enough to be able to have a room with lake view- breathtaking and well worth forking out the bit extra. The hotel was beautiful, spa was amazing and service was wonderful. We thought lunch and dinner in the hotel was pricey with not much variety so we only done that once. If you are staying here you... More

Hotel is very clean. Rooms are spacious and modern and with lakeview balcony the scenery is great. Breakfast had wide assortment of food and everything seemed fresh. And the main thing for us, pool area was really good and esspecially private beach with yacuzzis were really relaxing. Have to come back again !

There are no suite rooms, but only because all the room are very nice and big, with a private balcony overlooking either the pool or the lake. Very nice rooftop terrace, and restaurant is excellent. Direct access to the private beach and internal spa makes it very good for relaxing and enjoying the lake.

Nicely designed hotel but lacking in class My general opinion was that no one who works here has actually stayed in a 4 star hotel before. Either that, or they simply don't care. The hotel has the ability to shine yet is dragged back to 'average' by a lack of attention to detail and a few members of staff with... More

magic place in front of the Garda lake with an inside tunnel to reach the lake instead of crossing the road and there mini jacuzzis are waiting for you with the sun beds. The rooms are very good and the hotel can provide almost everything. Unfortunately, because of the fact that it's very old, the outside wooden part needs to... More
