This is an exceptional hotel that is very under rated. The facility is neat, clean and very comfortable with exceptionally helpful staff. The food and wine were outstanding and priced reasonably. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful. They went out of their way to arrange a tour of a cheese aging facility and three wonderful wine... More

This is a wonderful hotel with spotless rooms and one of the best restaurants I have been in. The location was great for the truffle fair, just up the road. It is convenient for visiting the wine hill towns nearby. If you are flying into Milan Malpensa and have an extra day or two, this is a fun place to... More

Fantastic location (but you need a car)!!! Great food, good and quiet room. Friendly welcome, even on the late arrival time (22.30): personnel called us to check for delay. Somewhat pricey restaurant.

Convenient location for touring through the best of Asti, Alba, Piemonte wine . We had a lovely dinner at the resort. Breakfasts are basic and elegant, a lovely start to the day. Very charming eating area. The lodge is family-run, which gives it a very nice feel. The staff is warm and helpful- we couldnt fully appreciate the view, grounds... More

We picked this hotel 'cos of its location on a road trip through Europe but it's worth a trip in its own right. Great location outside Moncalvo (apparently Italy's smallest city), with free parking outside the hotel. Fab infinity pool with 180 degree views over fields, vineyards and up to Moncalvo. Excellent restaurant with delicious wine from their own vineyards.... More

Nice rooms, a wonderful garden, swimming pool and view and the hills surrounding the estate, but beware the mosquitos, they are numerous and very agressive! The service is very warm, with a little gift and the end of your stay. The dinner takes place in a kind of cellar, with bottle hanged on the wall. The food is typically toscan... More

Between Asti and Alba, this big 'cascina', a former farm, with wine covered hills around it offered a great dinner and a good night's rest overlooking the little town of Moncalvo. Meticulously renovated and with a personal charm monitored by keen owners who took the time to tell us about the history of the property as well as share with... More

We were slightly disappointed in our stay here. Our room was small, stark and simple, and there was a serious lack of storage. We had a Superior room, and I had asked for a bath, but we were told they only have shower rooms. One could also here noises through the walls and every time anyone took a shower it... More

Very nice location, rooms are big and quiet, air condition is blocked at 23 Celsius. Service impeccable. Food at the restaurant rather expensive for local standards although it is very good. Staff very friendly, pool clean ( but cold). They have their own wines, wich are ok but rather expensive (their top wine is the Barbera Penelope, costs 28 Euros... More
