My wife and I are currently spending the week here. So glad our first choice hotel in Salo was fully booked as this hotel is exceeding all expectations. The staff are so friendly and helpful despite my poor attempts at the Italian language. The bedrooms are of a good size and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast provides everything and anything... Staff couldn't do enough for us. They were so helpful and friendly, room was lovely, food was lovely, nice pool and gorgeous location. I'd go back in an instant. Very nice hotel, I have nothing negative to say about it. Fabulous!!!

We are currently staying here on our honey moon and can only agree with all the positive comments below. We find the hotel very welcoming. Breakfast is plentiful and a wide variety of choice. Lunch menu is what you would expect but the food is top quality. We have had one evening meal here and dispute being pricey it is... More

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful location, fabulous views, great food, friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Our room was large and beautifully maintained. Gorgeous view from balcony. The quietest air con ever. The plentiful breakfast is enjoyed on a pretty terrace right next to the lake. The best hotel we've stayed at. If you can go, do

From the moment you walk in you can appreciate the hotel’s peaceful, slightly period atmosphere. The foyer is large and airy with a pretty yellow/ cream colour scheme, acres of marble floor and art works. It is a classy, elegant hotel – meaning it is not cluttered up with leaflets, pamphlets and signage. We found the staff on reception consistently... More

Location of the hotel is a little out of town with a 15 minute walk required to reach it but it's perfect for those travelling by car as it has car parking on site. Service was good from all staff and the room was pretty good size. The swimming pool is a reasonable size and the breakfast was really good.... More

Wow those evil little sparrows really got to the two previous reviewers didn't they, the tiny little feathered terrors..... I was fixing to give this charming little hotel four out of five stars, but the two previous scores are so absurdly unreasonable I feel compelled to up my score to restore some sanity and balance. So, on to the review... More

I was very disappointed with this hotel. It is an expensive hotel yet there is nothing to do there. There is one swimming pool and an overpriced restaurant but there are no gym facilities or tours etc. When I spoke to the one person on reception they were very unhelpful and spent more than 15mins on the phone to a... Totally unimpressed with this hotel. On arrival I was asked to hand in my passport which was put in a pigeon hole behind the desk at reception. About half hour later I came back to reception to find that there was no receptionist and my passport had been left sticking out of this pigeon hole, eventually receptionist returned and I... More

We very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful situation. Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Other guests very friendly and interesting. Lovely pool. Beautiful views of the lake. Excellent restaurant. Felt we were treated almost as guests in a friend's house. Only minor catch was the rather poor over bath shower.
