Stayed here for five nights with our two boys (six and eight years old). Positives: * great pool * on the coast with a great inlet where kids can swim in the sea and jump off rocks. Also found some fantastic trails for running. * staff generally helpful * 15min drive to Ostuni - highly recommend this for dinner and... More

Our second visit to this large hotel – after a gap of twelve years. We were slightly worried by tripadvisor reports, particularly on the food, but we felt that, with what we knew already, we could cope with that. Most of the accommodation is in single-storey extensions to the original masseria and in two sets of strange but somehow likeable... More

My wife and I traveled with a group of 35 others who were visiting Southern Italy in search of ancestors (and to enjoy some of the local sights). This was our second stop in the 2-week excursion and our bus arrived late at night -- the place was somewhat difficult to find. The rooms are QUITE A DISTANCE from the... More

Rooms are ok, not really to a 4* standard but a good sized bathroom, bed is reasonable, nice private terrace (but the hedges coudl use some maintenance). Nice and relaxing pool as a plus but in total the hotel comes with a total lack of service. as soon as you enter, you can't feel a welcoming atmosphere. Personnel isn't friendly... More

If you're a couple with small children or are over 70 years of age, you'll love it. The setting is terrific, about 10 minutes walk from the sea down a lovely palm tree lined avenue. My evening swim in the Adriatic was wonderful. Reception staff are from the Italian School of Miserable Hoteliers but our waitress at dinner was beautiful,... More

Stayed as a part of an escorted tour - Ostuni is very well worth a visit . We were allocated a good room well-furnished, clean with an adequate bathroom small patio that overlooked an attractive pool. The room allocation appeared to be a bloc room allocation to our party. Because of the party booking we dined en-mass - breakfast and... More

I am writing this review because this hotel was really quite astonishing; yes it was certainly different. Very basic. Rooms look tempting and modern. What about the nasty smell - in the adjoining bathrooms? What about the the large iron door you use to enter your room? Pool service? I don't think so? Uneven paths, reluctant staff, poor food quality... More

We really enjoyed a 10 night family holiday here recently. We have 2 young children (7 & 5), so it was important that they had a good fun time whilst we relaxed. They loved playing in the fantastic pool and we relaxed and even managed to read some books! I would recommend booking adjoining rooms as this worked well for... More

Lucky for us we just wanted to relax and do nothing. The location is far from anything. At night the bar closes at 11.30pm and the entertainment at around 11pm. After this there is nothing to do. There is no where to go other than to go to bed. The pool was lovely but the beach is about a 15... More
