We stayed here as part of a Newmarket tour. There were 47 of us in the group and we were all given accommodation in the gardens and not the main hotel. I thought our room was awful, reminiscent of barracks or a holiday camp. It was cold and impersonal, dark and dreary. Poor wi-fi reception. The private patio area had... More

This hotel has single handedly put me off returning to Italy due to the surly staff to whom everything seemed too much of an effort. The rooms were well equipped but I struggled to get past the feeling of being in prison due to the heavy metal black gate outside each room. The prison feeling continued in the dining room... More

My sister and I stayed at this hotel from 14th - 24th September. Facilities are excellent with splendid small beach where the sea was crystal clear and warm. The walk from the hotel is through an avenue of palm trees and the hotel provide sun beds and umbrellas. There is also a nearer rocky cove with more sun beds. Food... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grand Hotel Masseria Santa Lucia, Ostuni, Italy. I appreciated its isolation. The nearest town is some miles away. The hotel has wonderful grounds with no cars, plenty of sun loungers and areas in the shade. The swimming pool is large and during the last two weeks was not crowded at any time. (I... More

What can I say, this hotel is amazing. Puglia & Ostuni are fabulous places. I have travelled all over Italy & this was my first visit to Puglia. I shall return again & again. I have fallen utterly in love with this hotel, the staff are polite, friendly, courteous. The rooms are fantastic, clean, spacious, tidy! The bed is really... More

At first glance you could easily pass by this hidden gem of a place - apart from the huge road sign you would have seen earlier. Set on the outskirts of Ostuni, near its port (Marina di Ostuni) is the Grand Hotel Masseria Santa Lucia. Masseria means "estate" and the whole place itself is huge, although you wouldn't think so... We stayed here in early August 2015. We were a family of five: two young children with their mom and the grandparents. The kids and their mom jad one room and we had another. We all stayed in the main building. The pool was beautiful and the children enjoyed their time there, although we had some significant rain (lightning so... More

We travelled with Saga to this hotel as we wanted something different that offered a chance of some r & r in a nice climate. Some reviews of the hotel were off putting and some downright poor. However, we found a very nice hotel with clean rooms and very attentive staff. Meals were buffet breakfast and lunch and waiter service... More

My partner and I have been to Italy many times as we love it. If you too just love the Italian ambience then this is the place to come. Fantastic staff, good room, great space...the hotel is well spaced out, lovely pool area again with plenty of space. Every evening meal was a special occasion with typical and very very... More

This is the most fantastic hotel! The staff are all friendly and helpful. It is all kept spotlessly clean, and the quirkiest of buildings! It is a few minutes walk from the sea where there is a ladder from the sunbathing canopy down to the water. If you don't like that there are 2 sandy beaches about a 3 minute... More
