Wow! this may be the most unique hotel I have ever stayed at. The building and rooms are classic and are very well restored. But the lobby and hallways, and the rooms to a lesser extent, are filled with all sorts of art pieces, alot of it over-sexualized pop art. there are breasts and other lips and a wide assortment... more

This unique hotel was the best of the four we stayed at on our recent trip to Italy. The hotel is a juxtaposition of classic Italian villa and contemporary art and furniture, but it works !! The staff are polite and friendly and the location is very convenient to Verona, the Valpolicella wine region and Lake Garda. Swimming pool is... more

This is very unique and beautiful hotel. This hotel has a look of a classical villa outside with a crazy modern design inside. Very strange mix but it works. Standard rooms are small so get an upgrade if you can. Great experience. more

This is the most interesting, luxury hotel I have stayed in – and also offered the best service I have ever experienced. Turn your back and the housekeeping staff will have refreshed your towels and bathroom amenities and it was a delight to realise the hotel offers a turn down service - you'll look forward to the cookie on your... more

On the second leg of our honeymoon we stayed in Villa Amista. It was gorgeous if a little different. But it is the difference that makes it special. We booked under the art and love special so having arrived on the first day and taken advantage of the free shuttle into Verona, looked arounf this beautiful city and eaten quite... more

Interesting accommodation, the bedrooms and suites are very comfortable and well maintained (we could hear the freight trains during the night). Breakfast great, lunch choices a little lacking in imagination, a good selection of wine for dinner and knowledgeable helpful and pleasant staff. Benefitted from the hotel shuttle bus. Pool area a little small given the number of young children... more

I can't add very much to the previous reviewers comments except to say that I cannot fault this hotel in any manner! The service, food, rooms were all amazing, and it was the perfect way to spend the last few days of our honeymoon.. more

This hotel is a good distance from Verona, but runs shuttle busses to and from the opera, and is expert at booking restaurants near the opera. This is a beautiful and well appointed hotel, very avant-garde in decor, but it works! ( Shocking pink four poster bed ). more

A stunningly beautiful hotel that is really something very unique. The staff were both polite and helpful. The complimentary shuttle service works very well. The in-house restaurant is excellent. However for me i would still have two small criticisms. The lunch-time pool food menu is surprisingly unimaginative and the sun-beds are too closely packed together, which was not a problem... more
