Great location by the beach, good customer service from the owner and relaxed atmosphere. Suits well if you are looking to combine hiking, beach and easy living/holiday. The owner was helpful and pleasant and gave us tips for the rest of the trip.

I visited during the low season and let me tell you - it was fabulous! Drove for near 3 hours to get there but it was worth it. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing.... And the staff made me feel like close family! Piero, the owner, was also so kind... messaging me along the way to ensure that I would arrive safely! I've... More

This is what eco-tourism is all about. The hotel has an unbeatable location on Grande Riviere beach. During turtle nesting season you can literally watch turtles nest from your balcony or room. It's much better to go on the beach of course - but that is how close you are. Piero, the Italian owner, makes lovely food. The upstairs rooms... More

I visited this resort to experience the North East Coast of Trinidad. Upon booking the owner Piero was very accommodating and assured me that I could check-in and check-out at anytime as it was slow season for the hotel. This was appreciated. Piero really caters to the need of his guests along with his buddy dog Stark. I stayed on... More

Getting to this great North East Grande Rivière location through Matara Bay, Toco Lighthouse and Blanchisseisse is a wonderful not too longish trip with nice views of humid tropical jungle down to beach bays already slowing you down a lot. Mt Plaisir is a small village and the hotel run by Piero is naturally relaxed with nice rooms overlooking the... More

My gf and I visited Mt Plaisir this past weekend (22-23/08/15). The owner, Piero, was very accommodating and helpful as our booking was done just the day prior. He basically met all of our needs and I do commend him on his service. The room that we stayed in was very rustic which was expected as it was the only... More

We came in late, darkness to be honest. The owner prepared dinner for us at 11:58pm, super awesome! It was raining, now tell me where else can someone do that? We weren't sure, and we tried. We felt right at home, I've been all over the world. THIS IS UNHEARD OF, TOTALLY.

We arrived early and was allowed early check in at no extra cost. The breakfast was excellent however there is a long wait to be served. The place is very rustic but clean, secure and spacious with great views. There is a river close by where you can bathe.

This place has everything going for it – it’s right on the beach, in a small village, tranquil setting and nesting turtles on the beach and under your balcony it could easily get five stars but was sadly let down by the lots of niggles and lack of customer care. My wife and I stayed here for four nights transferring... More
