Birds chirp and squawk, palm fronds rustle in the breeze, waves crash on the secluded private beach and we’re alone at one of three infinity pools, a hundred steps above the Atlantic at the Bacolet Beach Club on Tobago. We’re staying across the street and farther up the hill at Half Moon Blue, the eclectic and pleasingly weathered nine-room sister... More

We loved our stay in half moon blue- it was spectacular. We were on our honeymoon and this place is perfectly chic romantic. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was by far the best we had on our trip! It has a private beach, two infinity pools and convenient 24 hour car hire so you can see more of the island.... More

This hotel is definitely different! We stayed here for a week at Christmas in the superior penthouse which was an upgrade. The room huge as was the verandah with a view to die for but some of the facilities definitely in need of refurbishment particularly the bathroom. Beautiful private beach. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast which was included in the price... More

We stayed here for four nights. When I mentioned that we would like a higher floor we were upgraded to a junior penthouse at no extra cost. Front desk and reservation staff were friendly and helpful. They helped us with car rental and arranging for taxis. The hotel is on an incline and isn't suitable for people with knee problems... More

Stayed at the Half Moon Blue hotel for two nights. The hotel staff were wonderful and helpful. The rooms were very tidy and well maintained. Hotel is based near a beach and facilities are all close by. The airport is 20mins drive from the hotel. Has local shops ten mintues walking distance. Would recommend.

We got a fairly large room but it seemed as if I had stepped 30 years back in time and was back at my grandma's old place. The wardrobe is quite small. Large bathroom but everything was falling apart: tap held with a cord underneath the basin, chipped mirror, broken glasses... The location of the hotel is quite remote, you... More

My fiance and I stayed in the "penthouse" at one of the villas here... it was gorgeous! Absolutely no complaints! Amazing view from our room and it was so spacious. It's so clean and modern, with unique decor. With access to the private beach just across the street, and the restaurant for breakfast, I absolutely love this hotel!!

I only chanced on this place by accident. How lucky was I?! Forget the Hiltons, the Hyatts, even the Four Seasons (in Firenze), this little gem is special. It may just be a matter of taste but I adored it's quirky, eclectic feel. I have to admit that there were little bits here and there that could do with a... More

Spent 5 nights at Half Moon Blue recently in one of the junior penthouses. On arrival, the room looked delightful, with fresh petals strewn throughout. Accommodation was very comfortable and the view out across the Atlantic stunning. The option to use both the facilities at Half Moon Blue and the Bacolet Beach Club was a bonus and the complimentary breakfast... More

We went to the Half Moon Blue as a stopover from UK to Trinidad. That one night convinced us to stay another 4 nights at the end of our holiday. Both the rooms that we stayed in were enormous and really well appointed with huge beds, fridge, coffee tea makings, great fully equipped bathroom, flat screen TV if you could draw... More
