4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Overall we had a good stay with no problems but some negatives were noted. POSITIVES - Newly refurbished rooms were clean and well decorated with plenty of cupboard space - Air con worked flawlessly - Beach is very secluded and private to the hotel - Rok Bar on the beach serves good food (all from Club Havana restaurant/bar next door)... I visited this hotel during the very busy Tobago Jazz festival weekend on the last week of April 2015. I was pleasantly surprised by the layout and decor which struck me as a bit tacky at first, but proved to be more unique and cozy all at once. The rooms are clean, bed doesn't have a duvet which is not... More

The hotel has a lot of potential but I had some issues. Its location is perfect walking distance from town but far enough away that its nice and quiet. I was upgraded to Penthouse Suite which is basically just a larger room. The issues I had were hit or miss service at the Cafe Havana restaurant, hit or miss hot... More

.My wife and I stayed here for just over a week at the end of April and while we generally found the place to be nice and comfortable (clean rooms, although the towels were a bit tired at times) we were terribly disappointed with the food. The breakfasts were buffet only, serving fried food and the like (no a la... More

The hotel is in a wonderful location and beautiful beach. Our room was absolutely superb and excellent quality cleaning staff. BUT .... (a) the hotel is being let down by the erratic quality of food served by their restaurant and unacceptable waiting times for food at the beach bar. Most serving staff are very helpful but some are rather difficult.... More

My friends and I just got back from this resort yesterday! What a beautiful little resort with stunning views! The front desk staff are excellent and did everything to keep us happy during our stay. A special mention goes out to Britta for her wonderful service. It's people like this who make your stay more enjoyable. We were all upgraded... More

We stayed in a corner room overlooking the beach/pool. The room was beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco & fruit as well as flowers on the bed and in the bathroom. The hotel was trendy and well maintained with lots of natural light. The pool was nice and clean and overlooking the water. The best... More

Our final day in Tobago and spent the last three of our 10 night trip at a Bacolet Beach Club. Having stayed at Kariwak in Crowne Point for the first 4 nights (excellent) then Castara Retreats for 3 nights (excellent) we wanted the last few nights just sitting by the pool and wanted to see what the Atlantic side of... We planned my husbands 40th birthday holiday about a year before and was in touch with the GM who upgraded all 10 of us to the new wing. The domestic staff were excellent but the staff in the restaurant definitely need to understand what customer service is therefore the hotel management should address this. The minute there were too many... More

It's a quaint hotel that gives you all you need in paradise and a great place to wind down from Trinidad Carnival. Check-in was easy and the staff was very friendly, customer service was great. Loved the fact that we were near the beach, it was nice to fall asleep by the lull of the waves and wake up to... More
