Went here over this weekend it was terrible. First place me and husband has been to an didn't like it at all. The worst part it was my husband's birthday and I wanted him to hav a nice time which he didn't.The pool was the best thing. Food and room was not worth the $$ we had spend. Was very... More

I rated it Very Good because the rating before is "Average" and the rating after was "Excellent". I think the rating system does not quite relate to this venue. I start by saying that most of what you read by other visitors is probably accurate and should be taken into consideration. We stayed between the week of Christmas and New... More

The only thing I liked was the pool. We stayed at the villa. The property is in need of maintenance, the bathrooms smelled, the place was not properly cleaned. You have to bring your own pots and pans. If you are coming from another country then that is absurd. The worst part of our experience was the breakfast we had... More

My husband & I stayed here over a weekend as a mini honeymoon/getaway trip after our wedding. Extremely friendly staff. Ats we entered, we were greeting with a staff member who took our bags in & directed us to the front desk. At the desk, we were surprisingly upgraded (regarding our room). Reason; unknown; didn't ask. lol The food was... More

Pool was exceptional despite the tightly shut poolbar. Beautiful ocean view. Staff courteous. Meals were sumptous. Relaxing atmosphere. Room was clean, comfortable and inviting. Bed was covered with petals and towels folded like swans. Will go again

If you do not know the British comedy series Fawlty Towers then ignore my reference to it! The setting and Grounds are tropical and wonderful. Large infinity swimming pool with waterfall you can swim through. A few metres from the beach but that is not very practical as tide comes up to the rocks. Pool bar only opens if busy... More

Salybia is a beautiful resort and the grounds are pretty BUT there's room for improvement. I would like to say it was nice to visit the northern side of Trinidad instead of running to Tobago. However, it was evident upon arrival that they were short of staff, the bar was not fully stocked and there few other things missing. I... More

We stayed in luxury room #4 and I must say I have more luxury at home. When we arrived we still had to wait for towels to which the response was we could go into the room but we have to wait for the towels. When they arrived after we reminded them the guy said they were in the dryer... More

We took the jacuzzi room in the hopes of having a romantic weekend. The jacuzzi was dirty and even had a pubic hair in it. Needless to say even after I got them to clean it I had no trust in its cleanliness. The room had an odor of mold for the entire weekend. I even left the balcony door... More

My stay was there will be a memorable one. The staff is very helpful and polite always attend to you with a welcoming smile. The hotel is very beautiful and peaceful. The views is what I liked the most.
