We stayed at Kuata Island Resort for 2 nights in one of their 'oceanview bures'. The island itself is gorgeous! And the staff are so eager to keep everyone involved and socialising. I highly recommend having a massage. The lady sets up a table on the edge of the beach and for really cheap I had the best massage I've... More

While kayaking the Yasawa Islands we stayed two nights in a Backpacker Resort on Kuata Island. The place reminded us of freshman college dorms complete with institutional cafeteria food. When traveling, we usually select better, unless we happen to be visiting third world and primitive accommodations are part of the overall ambiance. On the plus side, the people of Fiji... More

The food was quite plain here and the level of service was so so. This place needs to pick up its game when compared to the other islands in terms of these two factors. Highlight of the trip was diving with the reef sharks but unfortunately, my visit to this island was marred by an incident where one of the... More

If you're traveling to the Yasawas, Kuata is a nice place, although is not the best. It's in between a basic resort and a good resort. The overall experience was very good, with the staff, the activities, the location, and the amazing views. That said, I think there are better places in the islands.

Kuata is a very small island and so is the resort. Despite being small, people have a big and open heart over there. This place is perfectly quiet, beach is fine for swimming (although not one of the best I have seen) or chilling out. Food was good and the bure I stayed in was fine. They provide mozzie nets... Kuata Island Resort is the best! The rooms are basic but the service, the location, the food and everything else about this quaint island resort is spectacular. Its like lounging on a piece of paradise. The staff are amazing and extremely friendly, getting to know everyone by name. Definitely recommend staying at this resort at least for a few days.... More

We arrived to a friendly welcome on the beach. The bure was basic but had it's own toilet and cold shower. They say that the water is drinkable but I had a bit of an upset stomach and would recommend buying the water. The food was very basic but edible. What stands out for me is the people there -... Granted the rooms are very basic, but they have real charm. No bugs in the double rooms! Food was good and plenty of it. They played their guitars at lunch and sang. Always alot of people milling around, which gave it a feeling of being a family run enterprise. There is a lovely area by the beach with hammocks slung... More

The resort is run-down, very basic and dirty. The dorm i was staying in did not have any security and the mosquito nets had holes in. The first night i woke up to find ants in my bed and i also had small bites all up my legs either from bed bugs or ants. When i complained to the staff... More
