I just left Botaira Beach Resort 3 days ago and already feel like I wanna go back there…that's how much I loved it. Beautiful and different in every aspect, it feels more like a family; it draws you back to nature, it calms you, it nourishes you and it teaches you 'the luxury of simplicity'. Vinaka vakalevu Edi, Kally, Mesi... More

I have a few main points. They put us in the room below the one we booked and paid for. They were quite helpful and we swapped rooms after the first night. What we saw of the snorkelling it was great. They have a giant clam farm but we didn't swim out to see it. However I would recommend bringing... More

Very friendly staff, personal/private service, make you feel like going home.. Beautiful island, clean water and fantastic carols, great snorkelling site, quiet and relaxing experience.. Cons: the power cuts off at 12am, no fan or climate control after midnight, extreme hot and humid, hard to sleep.. The windows couldn't be closed properly for our beachfront villa, so if u are... My daughters' and I spent a glorious 5 nights at Botaira. It suited us perfectly. The location is idyllic, the staff are welcoming and cheerful and the food simple and tasty. This is not for those who are looking for 5 star amenities but the bures are clean and large with rustic appeal. The snorkelling is brilliant and you can... More

The worst experience ever. DO NOT GO ON THIS CRUISE or to this island. If I could rate it less than 1 star I would. You spend 3 hours and 15 mins on a packed ferry EACH WAY only to get to an island where the resort staff don't pay attention to you as you are a "Day guest". We... More

Wonderful holiday in a beautiful resort - very colourful coral reef only metres from the beach with easy access particularly at high tide - be careful when you need to use the slippery path at low tide. Plenty of fish and lots to see. Meals were OK but if you stay 4 nights you get complimentary half lobsters and wine.... More

Twelve of us went to Botaira for a day, and we had a delightful time. The water was crystal clear and had amazing snorkelling. We had a lobster for lunch and it was very yummy, but it wasn't as good as Lobster in Australia. The staff were very friendly and the island was very relaxing. We enjoyed our day trip... More

*Fantastic snorkelling* better than the Great Barrier Reef. We saw clams , a turtle , starfish & many varieties of fish, coral and colours. We took the short boat ride a few times to go deeper well worth it on a bright sunny day, at a very small cost. Thank you Kally for taking us. We stayed on the beach... More

A lovely 'rustic' resort with friendly, helpful staff and a superb reef for snorkeling which was our main reason for choosing this resort. The accommodation was a little rough around the edges but clean and tidy. The meals were really lovely considering the remoteness to the mainland and the free lobster meal on our 4th night, divine! You can't drink... More

This is a resort with direct access from your bure to a long clean beach and direct entry to snorkel - excellent coral, large clams, and plenty of fish of all sizes and colours. It all sounds great, and it proves to be the case, but when you step ashore your first impression might be one of disappointment. It may... More
