An awesome place to relax and charge your batteries. Try to get up early for the sunrise as the colors are amazing. Meals are well prepaired and taste good. The day can be spent sleeping in one of the hammocks right at the sea or with one of the many activities. From talks, walks and snorkeling to chatting and diving... More

I love this place, have to come back and stay for at least a week next time!. Stayed in a bure at sunset beach this time. Simple room with a great bed and only 15 steps to the sea where it was lovely to snorkel around. The concept of sitting people down at a certain time at the beachbar for... More

We were a bit worried when we first arrived. The staff greeted us didn't seem to know how to find our reservation (fully paid) and grounds and thatched burres looked tired and uninviting. But after a while this place turned into my favorite of 3 resorts we visited on this trip. Here is why: Snorkeling: Snorkeling off the Sun Rise... More

All I can say is we had the best time here for four nights than we have had anywhere else in the world, and we've been to a lot of places! The people are the nicest you will ever meet, we actually felt like a part of their family. Food is delicious and beach is lovely! Lots of activities, definitely... More

We are a couple of oldies who usually look at the deluxe to luxury end of the market simply because they are kinder to old bones. But we spent five days at Barefoot in a beachfront burre and it was first class in all respects. The burres are glorified big tents with thatched roofs containing a big double bed and... More

I cannot begin to tell you how much I loved this place! It is unbelievably beautiful! My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights. The staff felt like family by the first day. The food was good & plentiful. The bure was clean and opened right to the beach. Could see sunrise from my bed. I live on an... More

I stayed 3 nights, but would have stayed longer, because this island has some beautiful magic. 3 beaches, very diverse, and a pretty bar/restaurant at the beach. I read some reviews and was a bit concerned because they were quite diverse, but it always depends what you want: If you want to stay in a sterile luxury hotel which could... More

We stayed in a dorm on the sunrise side. Small disadvantage was the strong wind as you have to lock your doors and windows during the night. But in general we enjoyed our stay. It was awesome. Great and heaps of food, nice staff, that was always helpful. And one of us enjoyed diving, too. We didn't expect this luxury... More
