This resort has a fabulous beach and outstanding snorkeling but I think the poor management and accommodation made our holiday less magical. We went on a family holiday and specifically asked for 2 Bures next to each other (we booked 6 months ahead) and were put at opposite ends of the resort. We stayed in the premium garden Bures -... We had the perfect holiday here. They have got the blend just right. Friendly, casual, but a little luxury. Nice food. Amazing location - coral reef and fish off the beach. Activities if you are keen, or just laze around in a hammock, cool off in the sea and wander up to the bar for cocktails at happy hour. A... More

Just loved this beautiful island. We travelled with our family of four (two children 14 and 11) and had the most perfect time. The food was amazing with plenty of choices each lunchtime. The dinners were sometimes themed and other nights a la carte or buffet. Simply delicious. We enjoyed lazing on our beach lounges, swimming, snorkelling and playing beach... More

Best food, beach, snorkelling and service I have experienced in the Pacific. Our kids (10 and 8) loved the kids club and never wanted to leave it. The free Yoga is a fantastic way to start the day. Our family of four loved this special place and can't wait to return.

We stayed here for three days as part of the ‘Bula’ pass experience. This was our second best island resort and is the sister hotel of Blue Lagoon (our fav). Unfortunately when we booked our accommodation we could only have a Garden Villa for one night staying in Private Bungalow with shared facilities for the remaining two nights. First the... More

Beautiful people, delicious food, wonderful beachfront accommodation, picture perfect beach. Go to church, visit the kindergarten and the school further up the island - the children are beautiful! What more is there?

I recently ravelled to Octopus resort with my family of 8 people. Most of the staff are from the local village and are friendly and helpful. The strong connection with the village is unique and the people are very generous about sharing their culture. The food is excellent, with a focus on local Fijian dishes using local ingredients and they... More

We went to Octopus on friends recommendation - it did not disappoint. Warm, friendly staff. Great facilities & rooms. Nice pool and quite good snorkelling / coral reef right in front of resort. A nice bonus was the kids club which we weren't aware of beforehand, but took advantage of. You can't help but relax in this laid back atmosphere.... More

We spent a wonderful 10 days at Octopus resort, from the moment we arrived it was paradise. The staff were really friendly, the food was fantastic with a menu that would suit even the most fussy eaters, and the rooms (beach bure,& point 3) were spotless and well appointed. The restaurant has communal dining which encourages people to share the... More

Octopus resort was our first Fijian experience. We read a lot of reviews before booking. We must admit Octopus exceeded our expectations in every way :)). We purchased a full meal package which was the best way to go. Food was amazing: fresh, beautifully served, impeccably prepared. Service was excellent. There were a lot of staff at any one time...
