We went to Octopus on friends recommendation - it did not disappoint. Warm, friendly staff. Great facilities & rooms. Nice pool and quite good snorkelling / coral reef right in front of resort. A nice bonus was the kids club which we weren't aware of beforehand, but took advantage of. You can't help but relax in this laid back atmosphere.... More

We spent a wonderful 10 days at Octopus resort, from the moment we arrived it was paradise. The staff were really friendly, the food was fantastic with a menu that would suit even the most fussy eaters, and the rooms (beach bure,& point 3) were spotless and well appointed. The restaurant has communal dining which encourages people to share the... More

Octopus resort was our first Fijian experience. We read a lot of reviews before booking. We must admit Octopus exceeded our expectations in every way :)). We purchased a full meal package which was the best way to go. Food was amazing: fresh, beautifully served, impeccably prepared. Service was excellent. There were a lot of staff at any one time... Had a lovely 3 day stay in the depths of winter. Mostly warm with some clouds and some sun. Very good food, good selection of activities though the water was too choppy to snorkel for us. We took the strenuous guided hike to the top of the island for amazing views. Our beachfront bure was simple, not fancy. A hermit... More

Octopus was the last of our stops after a long (but not long enough) week and half travelling the Yasawas and Viti Levu (the mainland). And a hot tip, make sure you put Octopus at the end of your journey if you are going elsewhere because it will not disappoint. It was absolutely amazing! We stayed 3 nights at Octopus... More

After reading a lot of reviews before we got there I had high expectations of the Octopus Resort. And it didn't disappoint!!! Wow!!! As you pull up in the boat it looks amazing. You are welcomed with open arms when the skiff touches the beach. The rooms were great and well maintained. The reef just off the beach was awesome!!!... More

I stayed at Octopus resort for 3 days in a garden bungalow room which was absolutely stunning! A great private balcony surrounded by tropical plants and a nice small room. The shared bathrooms were fine. The beach which the resort is situated is small but lovely with very good snorkelling right out front. Not to be missed! Spent hours out... More

Having been to Octopus resort three times before, we returned for our fourth visit (for a whole 14 nights) thinking we might work it out of our system. Alas, no I still didn't want to leave, and will return again to enjoy this fantastic little resort. The key things that make you want to return are the amazing food, the... More

We have just returned after an eight night stay at Octopus Resort (followed by a six night stay at Paradise Cove, see a separate review). We loved this place! We initially stayed at Point 4 (a premium beachfront unit), this was just magic, wonderful rooms and our own private deck with loungers and hammock. This unit is at the southern... More

This was our 8th trip to Octopus Resort. As usual, it was the perfect getaway from winter in New Zealand. We had a great time and will book again for next year. One of the great things is the fact that local people from Nalauwaki Village (over the hill) work here and are an integral part of the resort. Ravi... More
