Had a lovely 3 day stay in the depths of winter. Mostly warm with some clouds and some sun. Very good food, good selection of activities though the water was too choppy to snorkel for us. We took the strenuous guided hike to the top of the island for amazing views. Our beachfront bure was simple, not fancy. A hermit... More

Octopus was the last of our stops after a long (but not long enough) week and half travelling the Yasawas and Viti Levu (the mainland). And a hot tip, make sure you put Octopus at the end of your journey if you are going elsewhere because it will not disappoint. It was absolutely amazing! We stayed 3 nights at Octopus... More

After reading a lot of reviews before we got there I had high expectations of the Octopus Resort. And it didn't disappoint!!! Wow!!! As you pull up in the boat it looks amazing. You are welcomed with open arms when the skiff touches the beach. The rooms were great and well maintained. The reef just off the beach was awesome!!!... More

I stayed at Octopus resort for 3 days in a garden bungalow room which was absolutely stunning! A great private balcony surrounded by tropical plants and a nice small room. The shared bathrooms were fine. The beach which the resort is situated is small but lovely with very good snorkelling right out front. Not to be missed! Spent hours out... More

Having been to Octopus resort three times before, we returned for our fourth visit (for a whole 14 nights) thinking we might work it out of our system. Alas, no I still didn't want to leave, and will return again to enjoy this fantastic little resort. The key things that make you want to return are the amazing food, the... More

We have just returned after an eight night stay at Octopus Resort (followed by a six night stay at Paradise Cove, see a separate review). We loved this place! We initially stayed at Point 4 (a premium beachfront unit), this was just magic, wonderful rooms and our own private deck with loungers and hammock. This unit is at the southern... More

This was our 8th trip to Octopus Resort. As usual, it was the perfect getaway from winter in New Zealand. We had a great time and will book again for next year. One of the great things is the fact that local people from Nalauwaki Village (over the hill) work here and are an integral part of the resort. Ravi... More

Just had a wonderful 6 nights at Octopus. Great accommodation, first 3 nights in a premium garden bure, fantastic outdoor shower, before moving to beach side. Excellent food, reasonably priced drinks with cocktails at happy hour a must, warm and friendly staff (Ravi's a gem), nothing is too much trouble. If you're looking for the real Fiji then visit the... More

We spent 3 nights in a garden bure and while we had a lovely time, we did not feel we got good value for the amount of money we spent. The bure itself is designed as a traditional fijian bure and is minimalistic in design. It was simple with just a bed and wardrobe in the room and an outdoor... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Octopus Resort as part of a longer trip to Fiji and were here for 3 nights at the end of June. From start to finish it was a great experience. You get free pick ups and drop offs anywhere within Nadi and get taken to the harbour. We went on the Octopus boat which... More
