My friend and I stayed at the Octopus resort for 4 nights. The resort was nicely arranged and our bungalow was basic but nice. The food was actually better than expected especially the breakfast. The staff was outstanding. Every day they organized activities like volleyball, bracelet handcrafting, movie nights under the stars and many more. The beach was one of... More

A lovely place to relax, beautiful and peaceful. We had a fantastic few nights here chilling out. I have done loads of snorkelling around the world and the reef just off the beach here is one of the healthiest reefs I have seen. We went out kayaking, snorkelling, lay on the beach and swam (ask the staff where to swim... More

I debated for some time as to how to review the octopus. In some ways it is excellent and in other ways not so much. The welcome they give new arrivals is brilliant. You immediately feel as though you have arrived. You're then escorted to the office to pay the mandatory upfront food charges. From what I have seen on... More

I can 100% say that my stay at octopus resort was the best holiday I have ever experienced. It was the perfect mix of relaxing on the beach, getting active (snorkelling and hiking), and socialising with other guests. I travelled by myself for the first time so I was slightly anxious about that, but within a day I had met... More

Overall we had a great stay here. Chilled vibe, beautiful beach, outstanding snorkeling, plenty of activities, nice room and most of the staff were genuinely friendly and warm. However, a few things need to be worked on. The service is appalling and yes, yes I know "it's Fiji time bla bla", but it really is terrible. Especially the lunch service.... More

Being close to the beach and the amazing reef is worth staying at this resort. The food is delicious and the staff are attentive and pleasant. The dorms are alright if you are on a budget, but I think it would be worth it to splurge on a bure. This is a wonderful location to visit the other islands as... More

We just got back from one week at Octopus and we could not fault it. We stayed in the Point Premium Bure at the southern tip of the resort. It was quiet and tranquil as well extra large and well appointed - perfect for us a family of 4 (kids 3 and 5). The snorkeling straight off the beach was... More

This was our third resort in the Yasawa's. We stayed 4 nights in total, 2 in a private bungalow and 2 in the dorm. Generally the whole place is well organised, nice, clean and comfortable. The food is good and plentiful and the bar staff were friendly, unfortunately we didn't find the same of the restaurant staff but this didn't... More

We stayed here for a week, two couples both with a 3.5/4 year old. We immediatly relaxed into Fiji time (with our kids, no need to leave them at home as another reviewer suggested!), and enjoyed snorkeling at the front door, lying around the pool, daily yoga, massage and my husband did his Padi dive course and we just generally... Spent 4 nights in a beach front bure. Accommodation was rustic and relaxed, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, louvered windows to catch the sea breeze, private lounge and hammock and an outdoor shower. Access to beach was less than 30 steps away during high tide, swimming at high tide is ideal however limited at low tide as the fringing reef is... More
