Oarsman's bay lodge is situated on the beautiful and picturesque beach on Nacula Island. The water is spectacularly crystal clear and turquoise and seems to be one of the best beaches in the Yasawas. Nacula island itself is also amazing and is not too small that you would get bored on it in a few days. There is a nice... More

Three words.... Go to Oarsmans! We stayed for a week for our honeymoon in August 2014 in Beachfront Bure 2 and loved it. During the week we did quite a bit of exploring of the surrounding resorts and beaches and we are positive Oarsmans is one of the best value for money budget accommodation out in that area. Please note... More

It's a magical location, and we really wanted to like the hotel but unfortunately we couldn't. The family bure that we had booked was well below the standard for a FJ$400 room. No hot water, ratehr shabby and rather a lot of local wildlife to share the room with. To be fair they responded to our complaint about the lack... More

Thank you to all at Oarsman Bay Lodge. We all had the best time with the best people. See you next year I hope. We had three families with children. Adults and children had the best time and wished we could have stayed longer. The place was very clean, the food was great basic food - great for kids, the... More

My partner and I stayed 3 nights at the start of July and were both extremely happy with everything! The food was absolutely amazing (actually some of the best food we've ever eaten!), the snorkeling was fantastic right in front of the resort and the staff were so welcoming, they made us truly feel like we were home. They were... More

I booked here for 5 ns and kept extending - eventually staying 15nights. Yes it is Fijian owned so the money doesn't go overseas like the neighbouring resort . All the staff made a big effort to know everyone's names and were most helpful to everyone. The dorm is under renovation so we were in the beach front bures which... More

Unfortunately, Oarsman's bay exists to rip tourists off. If you're coming to Fiji to experience all that our the beautiful Nacula island has to offer, please do not stay with Oarsman's Bay. What you will get if you stay at Oarsman's is extremely basic--which would be fine if that's what the hotel advertised and was what was agreed upon for... More

As someone who lives in Fiji and has traveled to 20+ locations here (from villages to 5 star resorts), this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. The financier of Oarsman's Bay Lodge passed away recently and the place has been left in disrepair and with lack of management. The staff is trying their best, but their service... More

For the traveller that doesn't require the luxury of a resort. You come here to step a mere 4 metres into the most amazing water, onto a beach with beautiful golden sands, hammocks lining the trees, dogs wandering by your feet. Grab a cheeky beer from the bar and soak up the beauty. The food was just wonderful, each meal... More
