After endless meals of mediocre Americanized food, not by choice. I was happy to find this restaurant. The food was great, the service was fantastic. The view was amazing. Ambiance was what a Caribbean island restaurant should feel like. However, I had fried shrimp and crab cakes, two very simple dishes.

It was my husbands Birthday ! I made a reservation from the UK which was answered within a few minutes despite the obvious time difference. On arrival to the Seahorse we were presented with spectacular amazingly tasty food, firstly the chefs pate and then the best Lobster Thermidor I had ever tasted , it was huge !!! The service could... I truly believe that the drivers are paid to recommend The Seahorse Inn as an option to dine out. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like this was the first place that came up as a place to eat. Anyways, the view could have been nice if we were to enjoy a meal during the day. The lighting for dinner... More

Went to The Seahorse twice in January. Wonderful food, excellent service, beautiful setting. We we will be back again on our return in 2016. Only ate in the restaurant so have no knowledge of the hotel.

Went for dinner at the Seahorse Inn in Tobago on the off chance that we would be wow'ed. Massive fail in that department. Mind you it was low-season in September of 2014, and there were only about six other restaurant patrons there, but the ambience was not "tropical" or mesmerizing, or anything that memorable on warm clear night. We started... More

We ate twice at the Seahorse, food & service excellent cocktails even better. Great location, we will be back. Did not stay at the hotel but also had lunch at the beach bar which was also very good & very good value.

Excellent food at this restaurant and inn almost right on black rock beach. The best selection of food that I found on the island. Service was prompt and polite. A bit pricer than other locations but worth it. Except to spend around GB£40 a head with wine.

Can't praise The Seahorse Inn highly enough. Accommodation great for the price, food superb if a little on the expensive side. Staff very friendly and obliging, particularly the barman. Some have commented on the staff being Philipino but so what? Better a smiling happy Philipino than a surly miserable local waiter, which we have experienced. Only two minor criticisms are... More
