WORSE HOTEL STAY IN MY EXPERIENCE! Stayed for only two nights (thank God). I went there with a group of 14 friends to enjoy the amenities of an all-inclusive resort; only to find a struggling 3-star resort with a bad attitude! - I live in Toronto, Canada, left 12 degree weather to meet 35 degree in Tobago, only to learn-... more

Who said this was a 5 star resort!!!! WRONG!! I was excited to come to Le Grand in May 2009 for my anniversary - until i saw the surroundings and our room and the food service - AWFUL. There was no buffet style eating as we were accustomed to in other islands, poor selection of meals, no variety and the... more

24.05 - 07.06.2009 What a wonderful place. My best holiday. I have been to Tobago before, but this was my best holiday on the Island. All the staff was friendly and police. Always smiling and time to talk to the visitor. The food was excellent – specially the fish. We have a nice room - just in front of the... more

Pleasantly surprised after reading previous reviews. Apprehensive as travelling with 2 children (12 & 9) and moved from Grafton Beach resort due to it being refurbished. In all honesty there were not enough guests to warrant both hotels being open. Very quiet, few guests, but had pool mostly to ourselves and the beach - bliss! Although swim up bar only... more

A friend and I spent 2 weeks here in May 2009 due to a very good online deal. The members of staff were faultless and very friendly at all times, which was a pleasant surprise and contrary to the reviews we had read beforehand. The daily Spa treatments were superb and the hotel in general, though in need of some... more

Possibly one of the worst hotels I have stayed in in a long while. The staff were rude - ranging from a rude reception from the security staff on the entrance (which incidentally does not seem to be manned 24h - so don't expect security cover for your vehicles overnight) to the reception staff who barely seemed to be able... more

We took a long week-end break at this hotel and to be honest it was our first and it will be our last. The hotel is very well laid out, quite colorful, the room was large, airy and pleasant. The room fan did not work, the water saving devise in the flush tank of the toilet ment that you could... more

Hello. I am an Englishman who has been living and working in Trinidad (building a 5* HYATT Hotel amongst other things) for the last 4 years. I have visited Tobago many times with my family (Wife + 2 children 6 & 3) and went to this Hotel last weekend for a family break organised by my Employer. My weekend was... more

I am in full agreement with beehive manchester's comments from 16 March 2009. I would add that on the day we needed to reconfirm our flight home, the internet went down for 24 hours. Reception was asked to make the reconfirmation by phone on our behalf, but when it became clear the young lady had never undertaken this key function... more
