We actually got married in the hotel. We found all the staff to be friendly and helpful, except for one or two that manned reception. The room was clean, and after reading reviews about the hotel before we went we were pleasantly surprised. We had a fantastic view of the ocean and although some of the meals were not to... more

We stayed at the Grafton at the same time as the previous reviewer, but experienced a wonderful, relaxing time. I guess our standards may not be as demanding as those of some visitors. There were a few hitches over the Christmas period - to be expected at a time when regular hotel staff also take time off. The hotel may... more

We arrived Christmas Day full of great expectations but it wasn't to be,the gala meal and entertainment in which we had had to pay a compulsory extra charge when we booked the holiday consisted of a luke warm to cold buffet with a small turkey on the carvery and no entertainment. Boxing day only the beach bar was open for... more

This is easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel advertises itself as having three restaurants, including a beach bar. During my stay only one of the restaurants was open and the pool bar never opened. On Boxing Day the only evening meal was at the Beach Bar, if you arrived too late much of the food... more

We stayed for 6 days as part of an all-inclusive package to 3 Caribbean islands. This has to be by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The place is scruffy and in need of a makeover, but this would not have been of prime importance had it not been for the apalling attitude of the staff and... more

My wife and I have just returned from a stay at the Grafton Beach resort with Virgin Holidays. We had already enjoyed a two week stay for our honeymoon in June 2004 so it prompted us to book again. We were not dissappointed, it was absolutely brilliant and certainly got value for money.. We say this as seasoned hotel business... more

Grafton Beach Resort is exactly what you expect. Good value for money. All inlcusive with very standard quality food, drinks with not an excessive amount of alcohol in them... Nice staff on the whole, and actually the rooms were the resorts best asset (except from the beach) The beach i loved! Not white, not cristal clear, but what a nice... more

My Family of 4 stayed at the Grafton for 3 weeks. The kids, 9 & 5 had a brilliant time in the pool & snorkeling in the sea as did I. OK, the hotel isn't 5 star, but we found the food, staff, location, surrounding area, locals, beer & other drinks all excellent. We felt tremendously safe on Tobago &... more

Read between the lines! With every point there is a different point of view, truly like minded opinions approach anythng including holidays with a good attitude. While we were aware that this particular hotel has had some ups and downs in recent months we really tried to look bettween the lines and give the property a chance. We took had... more
