Like most of the reviews say, rooms basic but the sea view makes up for that. Rooms cleaned daily, no problems there. Most of the restaurant staff very rude and ignored us several times, would rather be on there phones or chatting, constantly having to ask for coffee, cutlery water etc, food was OK but rather repetitive after 2 weeks.... We stayed here over Christmas and it was a very unpleasant experience. Surly staff reluctantly served food and drinks despite us always asking politely. The restaurant experience was so bad that we didn't even eat dinner some nights to avoid hostile atmosphere. The restaurant was then closed, allegedly following a fight between the staff which ended in their incarceration! Provision... More

My stay at the Grafton Beach Resort was not a pleasant one. There was poor service from most of the staff, the food was limited and not so good. I left there feeling sick, don't know what caused it, if its the food or the water. The bathrooms are small but the rooms are ok. To me the only thing... More

I went with my wife for a few days in December 2014 after Christmas. The hotel was just okay, it definitely has seen better days and now seems a bit dated. Check in took a very long time as there was only one guy at the front desk, he was trying his best but several guests and phone calls made... More

Our stay was was end of December 2014. There were many hiccups, firstly our check in was for 3pm, we had to wait more than 3 hrs for our rooms, since the previous occupant left late and the employees were still cleaning, mind you we have 3 young restless kids and a cranky baby. The receptionists were all confused about... More

Good room with nice sea view.Water sports kayaking and excellent for snorkelling. The best snorkel area I found was on right hand side of Stonehaven Bay .This is a working beach and commercial fishing is an occupation here. I in particular enjoyed the beach bar/cafe. Entertaintement included Salsa lessons which my wife enjoyed.

My husband and I spent our first anniversary here&was looking for a romantic getaway, however it was not quite what we expected. The rooms consisted of the same outer red tiles. Our room comprised two beds, but we arrived after midnight so we didn't bother to change it.The corridors&stairways could do with some renovations. The lobby was modern&clean.Great bfast area&food was delicious.Service was remarkable.Beach at... I last stayed at Grafton Beach in October 2012, having last year gone to Antigua. In 2012 I met a delightful couple who have become friends thus we geared our return this year to coincide, naturally we headed for Grafton Beach, simply because we had enjoyed it so much, indeed, for my friends this was their fifth visit. While there... More

My husband and I stayed for a week for our 24th wedding anniversary, but wont be going back for the 25th! It was okay, old and tired, hardly any people there. it was out of season, so to be expected and to be honest it was nice because if it had been busy there is no way you could have... More

We stayed at the Grafton in Mid October. Got a really good deal through BA. So didn't mind the three star rating or reviews about "dated rooms" as we had no intention of spending all day in them. As it turned out our ocean view room on the 3rd floor was clean, modernised with fridge, working air con and powerful... More
