I stayed at Arrowpoint last weekend for one night. It's a tranquil site that feels like it's a long way from anywhere, even though it's actually close to the airport and easy to get to from Georgetown (by car and boat, organized by Roraima: www.roraimaairways.com/wp/). The boat ride is interesting, as it takes you down a river past houses that... More

We have been trying to book a trip to Arrowpoint for days. Same issue on my last 2 trips to Guyana, so we have never actually been able to get there. You phone the office and no one seems to be able to help you, and just tell you that the person who can help is not available but will... More

Going to Guyana was a very special holiday, none like any other I have experienced. This was like being at the cottage, secluded and disconnected. Gerry and his team do a wounderful job in making you feel very welcomed. The food was very home made but very tasty . I would go back in a heartbeat. His team was outstanding... More

I visited Arrowpoint Nature Resort for a two night stay in May 2014. The location is very convenient for access to Georgetown airport (10 minutes by car to the marina and 45 minutes by boat to the Resort). The Roraima Airways company own and run the resort so the booking was done through them. Email correspondence was poor but when... More

I enjoyed the 45 minute boat ride Along the Kumuni Creek starting from the Demerara river and into the Amerindian reservation. One can begin to view the various species of birds along the way, enjoy the natural grassland as well as forested areas. This resort is truly a treasure among treasures. Unspoilt and quiet as it is, one can certainly... More

When you hear of Guyana, usually Arrowpoint does not come to mind. It merely came up as an option or thing-to-do to pass the time on a random vacation. Long months after this experience, I feel obliged to write this review as I still can't believe how amazing this resort is. I highly highly encourage you to pay a visit,... More

We had a daytrip with friends to arrowpoint and santamission. We had our own car to get where the boat left to arrowpoint. This location was difficult to find. I wish a better sings would be installed at the side of the road. Second major thing was that tour company's own bus where all the other quests were was terribly... More

We went on a day trip to Arrowpoint. We left Georgetown by bus (from their offices) around 7 am and the ride as about 45 mins. We then took a speed boat to the resort. The boat ride was great especially once we entered the creek where there was vegetation on both sides. The driver stopped a few times to... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this rustic rainforest resort, and highly recommend it for anyone wanting to experience a nature oriented rainforest experience. I was able to combine my trip to Kaieteur Falls with this, which worked very well for me. Everything was well orchestrated and went smoothly, with one minor exception. Transport from the airport to the boat... More

My wife and I loved staying at Arrowpoint, life there was so tranquil and relaxing. The staff were fantastic and very knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora. The cabins were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. One day hopefully we will return.
