Clean and confortable room. The bed is a bit soft (or old?). The shower is a bit hard to use, either too hot or too cold. No specific view on Mt Usher from our bedroom. Our hostess is polite but a bit rough we've found. Good parking place. The surroundings are a bit depressive. We'll try another place next time.

Drove in mid late afternoon, checked in and was shown to our very large room. You could smell the freshly laundered linens as you opened the door. Very people friendly dog , but I forget his name. Jean is a lovely hostess, breakfast was perfect. We did go to the Woodpecker for dinner which was grand. Just up thehill from... More

I would gladly return to Ashford, just for the pleasure of staying at this B&B. Jean is a most welcoming and charming host. I returned one afternoon from my travels in Arklow and Wicklow town, and Jean offered me tea and some of her home baking. Such a lovely and generous gesture was much appreciated. All breakfasts are cooked to... More

Most conveniently located. Wonderful host. Large room, well furnished. Large bathroom, well equipped. A homely atmosphere providing off street parking. Immediately next door to one of Ireland's best gardens.

We had two adjacent rooms which was perfect for us. One of the matrasses was too old, the springs stuck out. The shower needed decalcing. The breakfast was very good: lots of fruit and other thing to choose. The breakfast was in a nice setting.

Mount Usher View is exactly that - the Mount Usher Gardens are right next door. The B&B is very nice, with one of the most comfortable rooms we've ever stayed in. Jean, the owner, revived us after a long days' drive with hot tea and really good apple pie. She also gave us good advice on where to go for... More

Mount Usher was a great stay. a large house, lovely host and wonderful scrambled eggs with salmon for breakfast. We had a very large room and comfortable bed. We were able to park in property and a great hotel to eat within walking distance.

We had a excellent night over at the Mount Usher View. We were greeted by their Jack Russell terrier and were given tea in the late afternoon to take the bite of the rain out of us. That day and the next morning it was raining such that even the Irish were commenting on the rain. We had come from... More

Mount Usher View is a wonderful Bed & Breakfast in Ashford, County Wicklow, Ireland. The rooms are very clean; Breakfast is excellent; Parking is generous, and the town has a great restaurant. Ashford is close to the wonderful Wicklow Mountains, which should not be missed in Ireland. THe B&B is right off the motorway and next door to the Ashford... More

Our stay was uneventful(except their Internet access wasn't woking for me). The hostess was nice but not very attentive. Her grandchildren were there and she was distracted. Breakfast was fine. Ashford itself has nothing in particular. The Mt Usher gardens are next door, literally.
