What a lovely place, nice family run business, we had a wonderful breakfast in the Farmstead cafe on site, with beautifully homemade food, and fresh salad and local produce served. The accomodation, breakfast is pretty fancy for the prices charged here, for selfcatering its very comfortable! The staff are very friendly, they seem to really enjoy what they do! The... More

The Granary two room accommodation was very spacious and clean for our two night stay with two adults ad two children. However, the reception is only open for a minuscule 2 hours in the morning and when we turned up at 5.00 pm we had to hunt around to find someone to give us a key. Be prepared to leave... More

My husband and I found Rathmore Country Village everything we had hoped for with our two week stay in Ireland. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Fully stocked with kitchen cooking utensils, linens, etc. and very clean throughout. We enjoyed the self catering and relaxing after a day of sightseeing. If you are looking for a place that gives you the... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed in Rathmore for 1 week half January. I had booked Suite #3, a studio. We came by bus from Dublin and we were picked up in Ashford by the family. As it was winter we had a lot of luggage and food as we had no transport. The landlady told us that the boiler had... More

My family and I stayed at Ashford at the end of August with a large wedding party and upon arrival we saw a large sign at the entrance stating "Four star luxury accomodation" , well in our opinion it certainly is not. We had to ask for our bathroom to be mopped as soon as we had a look around... More

Accompanied by some business colleagues from Dubai, we were very impressed with Rathmore Country House. A unique setting, with an Irish flavour, and certainly the very best of Irish hospitality! Our requirements were catered for in the most attentive and warm-hearted manner. Highly recommended and hope to return.

We went to Rathmore to celebrate a hen weekend and had a fantastic time. We were welcomed by Mrs Cullen and she had our accommodation all decorated with great fun Hen party stuff. We arrived on the friday and Mrs Cullen organised our entire weekend activities for us including transport down to the local village of Ashford. We found the... More

we went to the rathmore for a long weekend with a few friends and their children. On our arrival we were unable to track down anyone to check in. We had told her that we would arrive at 4pm which we did, and she was not their to meet and greet us. She then had the bookings mixed up and... More
