Last time we visited this restaurant the Mayo team were playing in a football final all the staff wanted to do was watch TV and just "mix with the locals " their behaviour was unacceptable We felt quite alienated as I am "a local" but living in London for quite some time ..the new management seem to be a little... Stayed for one night, to break a long journey. Booked a single room, B & B on booking .com for a very good price. The room was clean, good size with all you would need. The food and service and staff in the bar, were excellent and very good value for money. The breakfast was also good quality and plenty... More

Great food with impeccable service the waitress was friendly and cares for our every breed with a great choice on the Easter menu and quite cheap considering the volume of food we had and I would most certainly recommend the vegetable soup and the chocolate fudge cake

Went down to Yeats for Mother's Day having heard it was under new management. There seemed to be a bit of energy about the place once again and they were really busy. Food was really top class, served piping hot and well presented. Great to see our local hotel is busy once again ... new signage on the roads, and... More

This is our second time stopping at Yeats Country Inn following a fantastic meal in Sept 2014 and while the food was up to the usual standard I have to say the staff spoiled our visit. We had two different waitresses (one to seat us and another to serve) and both seemed to be uninterested and indifferent. They didn't converse... More

Both my husband and I had spent a long time travelling last Sunday when we were feeling very hungry. We decided to pull up outside Yeats County Inn and I'm glad we did. We were greeted with a warm smile and "hello" by our waiter and shown to a free table. He made pleasant conversation to us, which really gave... More

If you just want a quick bite on your journey then drop in for a quality meal at a fair price. However, if you want something special, talk to the owner, Don. If it can be done it will be done. This is a good base for the many outdoor activities South Sligo has to offer; walking, fishing, shooting, cycling.

We ate here on our way to Westport. It was a case of pulling over at the next place we found as hunger had hit us. We walked in and stood waiting for 10 minutes to get seated, only to have waitresses walking by us as if we weren't there. We finally gave up and just sat ourselves down at... More
