Absolutely in love with the fabulous design of the lodge and its location—it's like on another planet. As if it was some film set. And so “romantic”, according to the girlfriend; the wind, the silence and night sky, just wonderful—it is in the middle of nowhere so there is almost no light pollution. We did the “sleeping under the stars”... More

perfect spot for short stay. The tent is more like a room and it's great to have a bbq at your own place with a perfect view. I should recommend this place just for one or two nights during visiting the Vlei. Leave very early in the morning for your visit to the vlei!

Private huts with own pool, you can sleep on top of it, if you want! Unbelievable star viewing at night. Great tours to the dunes. Attentive service. Outside dinner with a great variety of fine food. We loved it very much!

This was our first trip to Little Kulala, and I was pleasantly surprised when our plane landed at the airstrip. The scenery is stunning. I was quite overwhelmed with it. We were met by our guide Alpha, who was a most knowledgeable and informative young man. He was patient and friendly and eager to share his knowledge with his guests.... More

The decor is understated and perfectly judged. We received a warm and informative welcome and our room was above and beyond what we had expected. The air conditioning - while not overly powerful - just took the edge of the intense heat in January and was appreciated. The staff were without exception absolutely delightful and the food was outstanding -... More

This was our first stop in Namibia. I am very glad that the path begins in the south and moved north. Thus we saw the different climatic zones and avoided the terrible heat . We were surprised of the temperature in the desert - it was enough comfortable . To avoid overheating, you should always be dress clothes with long... More

Don't expect to see the big five here at all. However the springbok , Oryx and jackal are fun to watch too. It makes that you can walk from your room to the main lodge by yourself. Walking on the dunes is amazing. We did Big Daddy which is not an easy one todo. Rooms are fabulous. Staff is very... More

There’s something magic about becoming part of a world-famous scene. And here in the Namib Desert that scene is a beautifully curved red sand dune, with the sharply defined ridge where sunlight meets shadow. Now imagine climbing up along the knife-edge of that ridge – whether it’s the popular Dune 45 (so-called because of its 45-degree angle), Big Mama, or... More

Unfortunately we booked three. this is a beautiful Premier Wilderness Camp, with wonderful accommodation and an exceptional site. However, after a trip to have a sundowner looking at the desert from a mountain, a trip to visit and climb the dunes at Sossusslevi, and and an afternoon trip to see the subterranean river canyon, we had done everything. This is... More
