This a very familly friendly hotel close to the beach. Very clean, friendly staff and a quiet area for relaxing holidays. Sad that wifi connection felt out for a whole week during our stay. But that doesn't matter, you can easely surf on the beach, and not hanging around in the www :-) we will come back for sure. Ciao!

A great hotel for couples or those with small children. Lots of space in apartment-style rooms. Good to have a fridge.Pretty remote, and the walk to the nearby village is along the main road with no pavement. No buses, but the hotel runs minibus to nearby Tropea - not to be missed! Days at hotel and the one in Tropea... More

We've just arrived home from a very pleasant stay at Hotel Cala di Volpe. We stayed in the 'Villa Le Agave'- this is a section of the hotel situated at the top of a steep hill (probably approx. 200m walk), remote from the main facilities (reception, dining hall, etc). It's elevated location affords a fantastic panoramic view from the balconies... More

Tucked away in its own private cove the hotel has a large swimming pool and private beach. The restaurant and bar area and adjoining TV lounge are smart and cater for most needs. We found the staff very helpfull and friendly with the reception staff able to book trips should we have wanted them. We will never forget the sunsets which... More

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks at end of June/beginning of July. We found the grounds to be pristine throughout. There are two areas, the upper level at the top of the cliffs, which is the more modern part. Here, the rooms have air conditioning and are large and spacious. The bar and the swimming pool are... Spent a week from July 14 to 21 at Cala di Volpe and weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, clean room and quick service. Two very clean pools, one salt water and the other fresh water. The beach and Sea are very rocky and Water shoes are a must! They clean the beach every morning and an umbrella and 2 lounge chairs... More

Just returned from a weeks holiday with Thomas Cook and on the whole it has been a positive experience. The grounds of the hotel are immaculate and the rooms, while a liitle basic, are spotleslsly clean and receive daily maid service. We were accomodated in the Villa Le Agarve section at the top of the hill overlooking the lower beach... More

This hotel is a special holiday! Have just returned after spending 1 week there. Really wanted a chill out week, and this is the place. The accomodation is amazing, as is the location, staff, food, etc, etc etc. I highly recommend it. However, (and this would be your choice if you like to wander), you do need to either have... More

We stayed at the Cala di Volpe for a week at the end of May and had the most wonderful stay. We arrived late on the Saturday night and the staff organised for food to be bought to the room, 2 plates of a selection of anti pasti style food which was so tasty and it only got better from... More
