I stayed here for a night. The room was nice, staff were friendly and it's set in a nice place. It's not far from a local town too. Check in is 3pm but we couldn't check in until 3:30pm. The swimming pool is very nice

Dropped in for lunch hour. Told staff twice at ordering we were watching the clock but food took 30mins which is unacceptable for burger and chips. Cajun chicken within the burger was nice but burger itself was completely dry with no sauce, only lettuce and onion. Very un-unappetising , chips were served in a bucket which looked well but no... Just back from a 3 night stay at the superb Mount Wolseley. This was our first time at this hotel and with 2 kids aged 12 and 10 in tow we had a fantastic time. Staff are top class and very friendly and helpful, special mention for the Kidz club crew and Sean in the restaurant. Couldn't fault anything to... More

Stayed in Mount Wolseley recently for two nights with a few friends and it was a really good experience. We booked a family room for the three of us which was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and had a separate bathroom and toilet which is a great benefit when there are three women sharing the same room! We dined in the... More

Regrettably, our stay in this much praised hotel was less than satisfactory. Whilst the room was perfectly adequate, the IT facilities were poor and the TV only provided terrestrial channels and a very poor picture which we complained about. Frederick's restaurant was recommended on Trip Advisor so we gave it a try having the Table D'Hote menu on Friday evening.... More

The hotel is beautifully set at the end of a drive. Inside was lovely, as was our room and the staff very helpful. My problem was the fact that it was overrun with children. Could not have a drink in bar with the noise. The library, open for afternoon tea,was the only adult only room but they allowed children in... More

As a regular business traveller, using hotels 3/4 times a week, mount wolseley hotel ticks all the boxes for me. Just stayed for 2 nights with my wife for a couples getaway, and we were so impressed. In fact, I have nothing to say against the hotel. The staff were incredible & the food was amazing. We had the early... More

Stayed here for a few days away with my family. Was nice, outside could do with a bit of paint but can't notice that once your inside. We booked a double room but actually got conjoined rooms which was great. Very comfy beds, lovely food and in a quiet location. Perfect for a quiet getaway. I also used the spa facilities... More
