We stayed here the night before we left on the ferry to Wales... after our tour around Ireland.Thankfully we had booked-our rental car had to be returned earlier than we'd expected it to-a communication glitch. Margaret's hospitality was so pleasantly, quietly, efficient and friendly that our hiccup with that, was smoothed over- and she actually transported us to the ferry... More

We had a lovely welcome from Margaret at Ashley Lodge having just got off the ferry after a long journey. The room was perfectly adequate and the breakfast was lovely. Margaret was an excellent host and she keeps a very clean house - all you want from a B&B really!

There can surely be no better host to welcome the visitor to Ireland than Margaret at Ashley Lodge. She keeps an extremely clean and tidy house and the location cannot be faulted either for access to the ferry or for onward travel within the country. Breakfast was good and proximity to the restaurants on the main road or down in... More

Stayed here overnight to catch the ferry in the morning, the location is great as only 5 min drive to the harbour, we arrived late 11pm but were still made to feel welcome by Margaret and she cooked a full hearty breakfast to see us on our travels early in the morning. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed... More

Nice quiet setting. About 5 minutes to Rosslare port. She recommended a good pub for dinner. Wifi works ok. Room was comfortable (traveling with kids). She prepares a great breakfast with different options.

Our family group of 3 adults have now stayed at Ashley Lodge on 3 occasions. I have nothing but praise for the comfort, facilities, the hospitality of Margaret (the owner) the value for money & their quality of the food. Margaret is very accommodating to all her guests requirements, the location is literally 5 minutes drive from the port, she... More

Stayed here on my last night in Ireland and needed to be close to Rosslare harbour. This guest house is about five minutes drive away so conveniently situated to the harbour. The guest house was spacious the room clean and so was the bathroom. There was plenty of tea and coffee provided as well as bottled water. The breakfast was... More

I was given the room in the big picture, a double and a single bed in - even though I only needed a single room. The room was spacious and both room and bathroom were very clean. There were plenty of teabags, biscuits and even a KitKat for snacks. Breakfast was generous and tasty. The house is a few hundred... More
