Visited the Roberts Cove Inn for food yesterday evening, Sunday evening, and what a pleasant experience it was, the food was faboulous, the service was great. I only ready the other Reviews from others this morning, and Im quite shocked at their negative reviews, as we found the experience very enjoyable yesterday evening. We arrived unannounced 4 of us for... More

I had Plaice and my husband had lamb. Both dishes were substantial, nicely presented and freshly cooked and tasty. Denis, the owner was taking orders and as always, keeping an eye on everything running well. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had been driving around the area, Rocky Bay, Crosshaven, Ringabella and this was a lovely spot for lunch. There... More

We went for a walk here last Sunday, the nearby cliff walk is really good so Roberts Cove inn seemed like the place to head for a bowl of soup afterwards. The location and area are really nice and well worth the journey alone. The downstairs bar and dining here is quiet large and there was good crowd there. There... More

Myself and my husband headed down with the intention of checking to stay here, however after lunch which was suppose to be toasted ham and cheese, which turned out to be toasted roast beef and cheese, unfriendly man behind the bar, cold inside and very pricey for soup and sandwich,we decided to not stay the night. For such a fabulous location it was all... More

Unfortunately, we had made reservations for the night. The room was old, overloaded power strip, old hanging wires in the bathroom, rusted wall near the shower. It was a B&B package that we had, but since we were leaving early, they wouldn't come early & provide breakfast for us. Big disappointment.

Robert's Cove is a gem on a warm summer's evening. It doesn't quite have the same attraction for me as when the walk up to the summit of the cliffs was closed off....it was a great way to start your meal by walking up there with the prospect of a good feed afterwards. The Inn itself has retained the kind... More

Food here is average fare for pub grub. No prizes for it and nothing memorable to recommend really. We were a little early for kitchen so hung around until open and then ordering was slow and the wait for food very long. There seemed to be a privat party in back which may expalin delay but not good enough. The... More
