I stayed here recently, and when we arrived after a long hike, Margaret greeted us with tea, coffees and lovely home-made cakes. We were then shown to our rooms, which were very comfortable and spotless. We had dinner that night there which was a hearty, tasty home cooked meal. The breakfast the next morning was lovely, with plenty of choice... More

We arrived early in the evening after a long hike and were greeted with fantastic Irish hospitality, a beer and a delicious and hearty homecooked meal. The service, cleanliness and food was all top notch. The owner even offered to drive us into town for a pint if we wanted and didn't hesitate to help with anything we asked for.... More

We stayed at Kyle Farmhouse as a group of six attending a wedding at Ballybeg House. Margaret cannot do enough for her guests - the welcoming pot of coffee with lovely home baking on arrival, the feast at breakfast time and doing two round trips to ferry us all to Ballybeg House. The house is in the heart of beautiful... More

I stayed here two nights with other friends for an old friend's wedding in Ballybeg. The setting was amazing and Margaret's welcome unforgettable. After an uncomfortable flight she welcomed us with tea, coffee and home made scones. She drove us to the nearest village and came to pick us up later. She was genuinely available for everything we might need.... More

We stayed here one night on our walk down the 'Wicklow Way'. We chose this property as it allowed us to even out the length of the hikes a bit. In that planning the guide books and on-line information all had this B&B at 22 km from Glenmalure Lodge. Our experience is that the distance is 26 km, and that... More

We stayed at the Kyle Farmhouse B&B for two nights while attending a wedding nearby in Ballybeg House. Margaret, the lady who runs the B&B, was so unbelievably welcoming and obliging, nothing was too much hassle and she even offered to take us to the wedding reception. While the B&B is remote, it is surrounded by gorgeous scenery and walks.... More

Five of us walked 26km from Glenmalure on the Wicklow Way to Kyle. Margaret had offered to collect us but we struggled the final few km. We were tired and wet but Margaret made us very welcome. The rooms were lovely and we had a great dinner that evening, real home cooking with wonderful bread baked by Margaret. Breakfast was... More

We stayed at Kyle Farmhouse B&B as we were attending a wedding in nearby Ballybeg House. As other reviews have mentioned, Margaret offered her help in dropping us down to the reception after the wedding Mass - very helpful when you consider how rural this area is. Unfortunately I had managed to forget my dress shoes for the wedding, but... More

From the time we got there, we were made feel so welcome! Margaret really made us feel at home, she even ironed my dress (hello)! Rooms were lovely, very clean, she gave us home made bread and cake with tea & coffee at different times throughout the day! All in all she was a legend and I genuinely couldn't recommend... More

I stayed at the Farmhouse with 5 friends who I had met earlier in the year on the Camino de Santiago. From the moment we arrived there was a warm welcome swiftly followed with tea and home made cake; just the job after a day in the pouring rain. Nothing was too much trouble for Margaret and her husband; drying... More
