I stayed for one night as a solo traveller and loved it. Medium sized room and very good value for money. I liked the quality of the linen and overall it had a touch of quality, down the fresh coffee on arrival and the phone call to know what time I would arrive. The gardens are lovely and it gives... What a great place to stay. Huge breakfast, comfortable beds and a stunning house. We were made to feel very welcome at all times. All that and the lady of the house ironed my creased shirt. This is the best place I have stayed in during my many trips to Ireland.

We stayed for three nights and the accomodation and service was first class and certainly value for money. The house is well located for visiting the area and easy to find. The gardens are well kept and a delight to sit with a coffee or something stronger. The rooms were spotlessly clean with comfortably beds and a good size ensuite. Breakfast... More

Talk about 'ambiance' this has it. The rooms are spotless, decorated with taste I just wish I could of stayed longer. My room looked out to the garden so pretty. The breakfast was good but the house is so well kept. Really comfortable. Great rates.

Stayed at the Friars for 3 nights, the welcome we had from the moment we arrived was warm and welcoming by both Breege and her husband. The rooms are very homely and spotlessly clean and the bed in the room we stayed in was very comfortable, the breakfast was cooked to perfection and plentifull. The location is great about 5... The Friars Quarter house is an absolute must if you are staying near Ballinrobe on your trip. The rooms are very clean, each with their own private bathroom. The beds are quite comforable, and the rooms are a good size. The outside grounds are absolutely beautiful as well, with well manicured lawns and beautiful flowers. Grab some tea/coffee and a... Absolutely loved the Friars Quarter and Bridget, the owner. It was a lovely property, room was SO comfy and cozy and the breakfast was great. It's a bit out of town, so we had to jump in the car to do anything, but otherwise fine. Bridget gave us ideas of places to go in Cong Village nearby, which is a... More

The Friars Quarter House has everything you could ask for. The proprietress met us at the door immediately offering us tea and coffee. The premise is beautiful and well kept. The rooms are clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. The front room is inviting and cozy, so much so that I'm about to sit quietly in it and read for an... More

We stayed in this Bed and Breakfast just recently and were overawed by the beauty of its setting and the beauty of the premises. The bedroom was small but had the best luxurious bedding. There was a flat screen TV and ample storage. Throughout, the public areas were immaculately decorated and amazingly furnished. The breakfast was huge and was described... More
