This was our 3rd stay here in two years. The people working in the hotel are as friendly as you could wish for, and it is they that give the GP the edge over some of the others. The food is good to very good, and the beach and sea are standard caribbean. There are no stones on the beach... More

I just wanted to write a quick review to say what a lovely holiday we had at the Grand Pineapple. The beach amazing and cleaned daily by the fantastic , friendly staff . The Gardens were beautiful and clean. Visit The Outhouse for good ribs and cold Beers. I have read some negative reviews about this hotel but recommend this... More

The food was good but not great. On 3-4 nights/week there is a buffet; on the other nights you order off the menu. The Topaz resturant was nice but the Pineapple grill food was great. We enjoyed it the most. The snack bar was good too. The resort is intimate and makes it easy to move around. I would recommed... More

We just returned from the Grand Pineapple (January 15-22, 2012) and have to say we LOVED it! We were concerned because we had read many bad reviews but cannot understand it! The trip did start out bad as we had paid extra for an Oceanview room, and was disappointed to be placed in a room on the ground floor with... More

Well done Gary W. Spot on review. We are about to undertake our fourth visit to GP. We are well travelled in both business and pleasure, and have had the privilege to stay in some of the worlds first class hotels. When you go to Pineapple you know that this is a 3.5 rating resort, unlike some others on here... More

As with some others who have commented, I don't make a habbit of reviewing hotels, but feel I need to defend this great hotel from small minded people with caviar tastes and fishpaste money. Firstly this property does not pretend to be up to standard of Sandals, and anyone thinking so does need to reflect on how much they have... More

if you think you're going here to get a taster of the sandals company & style maybe, then forget it! I can cope with an 80's style run down resort in desperate need of refurbishment, but the lack of amenities, total lack of food choice/variety, and the general "couldn't care less" attitude of about 50% of the staff, I can... we went to the Grand Pineapple hotel the week of the 15th of january. Great vacation, beautiful beach, tasty food, lovely staff members. This small hotel is typical of the people that lives in Antigua. If you are searching for something simple that represents the antiguans, this is it. If you prefer living like in Bervelly Hills, go to the... More

This hotel is very tiered and run down. We were completely mis sold this hotel! We were told that it was a luxury hotel where some of the rooms - The Tropical Waterfront, had recently been refurbished. We paid extra to stay in these rooms and they were anything by luxurious. The bathroom was like stepping back into a 1980's... More

The hotel is set on a stunning bay and the rooms are perfectly adequate. We stayed in one of the ocean view rooms in the 700 block - wonderful view but very noisy as we got the sound of the bar/disco etc wafting up. When we asked for an extension (for which they charge US$50) a flat 'no' was the... More
