I loved Sea Star resort. We had a a sea view bungalow and after staying in 3 different place on Long Beach, I am able to say that this was the best. The beach is shady due to trees that grow on it and it provided a different kind of lounging experience. The bungalow was tasteful, clean and well maintained.... More

The setting of this hotel on the beach was great - and that's what you're paying for! There were no glasses in our room and it was basic enough - then again it was on the beach! But we payed $95 per night for the privilege. If getting a good nights sleep is important to you then don't stay here... More

Phu Quoc is a place that you need to do your homework on before selecting where to stay and hotel pricing. First all of Phu Quoc hotels that I have stayed at, looked at and contemplated staying at are overpriced. I think that historically this has been so because occupancy rates have been high. This is though changing as the... More

The number one priority for a hotel is lodging.... i.e Sleeping. You can't even do that here, the bed is so hard and the pillow solid as rock. It was like sleeping on a slab with a stone under your head. Added to that, the A/C was poor, the mini bar fridge never got the beer better than luke warm,... More

Firstly I have to start by saying the staff, like all the people in this wonderful country, are too notch. I've just woken up after the worst night sleep for a very long time. The bed is rock hard. As we all know that old idea of a hard bed being good for your back isn't true, a soft but... More

Stayed here in the hotel part for two nights. Buffet breaky at the cafe/restaurant on the beach was pretty good. Just a short stroll past the bungalows and you're there. Every room has a little balcony which are all joined together, so if you are staying with other couples you can unlock the balcony and share the space if you... More

Paid 60 dollars a night for newly built hotel on the resort . Room was first class with massive shower and hottest I've had in my trip to Asia , can't fault it really Resort used to be just bungalows on th beach . They've moved reception to the hotel but the old entrance and reception to bungalow area is... More

Totally worth it for the private beach and nice room. But the service wasn't the best. You'll love this place if you love a quite place with private sand and sea on the beach. It was all quite overpriced though and the food was very westernised

We stay quite comfortable day at this resort. The amenity is not full. If you are man, you need to prepare razor. The razor is hard to get hotel and around area. Breakfast is a little poor. But the stuff are very heart full, not too friendly. Beach and hotel area and guest room is excellent clean. Shower always good... More
