As phu quoc expands tourism and develops more (and it's happening fast) beaches like long Beach will be affected. At the moment it's ok but has seen better days. Waste management is still an issue in Vietnam and only constant cleaning of the beaches by restaurants and hotels of the beach directly in front of them keeps them clean. Rent... More

Resort is located along the white sandy beach and away from the center so pretty quiet. Space is very large and design is quite close to nature, what i like most is that rooms at the resort are made entirely of wood, extremely impressive, i feel like being back in ancient time.

I really liked this resort. The staff were very helpful and efficient and the rooms were clean and big. The staff set up tables on the beach at night which was a lovely setting for drinks and/or dinner. Sunsets over the ocean were spectacular. The only drawback is that there is a lot of construction going on at the moment,... More

We stayed here over Dec 31/Jan 1 and the hotel was great, breakfast was great, our room was smaller, but nicely appointed with lots of wooden elements, the grounds are gorgeous, but there was a mandatory new Year Eve's party that we could not get out of. It was expensive, and because we booked so late we had our kids... More

I totally disagree with "snobman" to say to stay away. Also his comment management terrible. I disagree totally. My dealings with management outstanding. The resort is excellent. The rooms very special with the wooden beams carved out. The Ancient Village feel is like if we were in Siem Reap at the ancient temples. We had no problems with the service.... More

I am usually very understanding of average service in these islands- but this place is an absolute joke! There is very little English and a terrible service ethic. You have to ask for things twenty time and you always get the same answer 'just one minute'. The hotel is in a good location and the rooms are cool. The place... More

The rooms are very nice but they are not on the beach. We have been here for 3 days and we have only had like warm water showers. The staff were very accommodating however and allowed us to shower in another room. We arrived a day earlier than previously scheduled and needed to leave a day earlier - the hotel... More

This resort is really lovelly, the pictures found on the website are accurate : beautiful wooden cottages and rooms, nice beach, clear water, clean sand, etc... This would be a real paradise except for 2 things : - there is a buildnng site just nearby the pool, the beach and the beach restaurant. They work in there form morning to... More

Great vibe and very nice rooms. Bed is soft for Vietnam standards. Staff is very friendly and speak a very good amount of English. Beach is nice and isn't full of tourists since the resort is a bit south of the action. We really enjoy the place however the rooms are a bit overpriced. They are also doing construction at... More
