I was here with my husband for 3 nights. We were happy with the natural Thermal swimming pool. It was exceptional. Nevertheless it looks like the hotel has being running by people Stuck in Toscana since common age, not travelling and check fancy hotel in the World. It is a real pity since the place , The Thermal water and... More

Never stepped foot in the hotel, but the golf course was fabulous! It's the kind or track you could play every day. Lots of hills, lakes, ponds, trouble, bunkers and wildlife. (A muskrat investigated my drive on 18.) They even have life preservers next to each pond. No joke. Beautifully designed and memorable. (Squirrelly practice range, though. It's between #3... More

It's weird. It's wonderful. The place is sterile. Or simple, your perception. The rooms are acceptable if not sublime. The waters.... that's why you come here, are wonderful. But it's not like a man-made bottom where you can put your feet down on smooth cement. It's natural, as in real algae are floating by, (we thought it was ca-ca at... More

We arrived late at night and although the concierge on duty was polite, he wasn't exactly warm. Once we'd checked in, we were directed to our 'superior' room, which was large and comfortable, despite being a little beige! The next morning we left our room in our swimwear and the thermal robes provided by the hotel and went down to... More

As far as I can determine, the thermal baths of Saturnia are part of the 5-star Terme di Saturnia Spa & Golf Resort (http://www.termedisaturnia.it/) and therefore, after hearing so much about "Saturnia" over the years, I was so looking forward to a luxury experience at the thermal pools. The thermal baths may be part of this 5-star property, but there... More

Terme di Saturnia is a must while in Toscana. We are trying to go at least twice a year in the last 5 years. We kind of found our paradise... It's not only the hotel and the spa, but all the people working there, so kind, genuinely, all the great places outside the resort... Practically you have a piece of... More

What to say? The place is fabulous. The baths, the swimming pools, everything is beautiful. We spent two nights in a deluxe room. Nice, not great. The treatments (massages, etc.) are very expensive, like everything else. Of course the target here is very high. Nothing wrong with that, just be advised.

I travelled to Terme i Saturnia this year in April with couples of friends. So to make the story short, what i liked: - the natural pool with plankton, we spent their the half of the day - procedures (have to book on the first day of your stay, because people are coming their for real treatments) - easy access... Went here to play a round of golf, should be simple. Clubhouse was closed and gentleman directed me to the hotel front desk to pay for round and rental clubs, 2 miles away, did not offer us a ride. Walked there and paid for round and clubs, and was then informed half of course was closed. The lady at the... More

We changed our plans at the last minute and spent a night here -- and are very happy we did. The large hotel was largely empty (maybe 40-50 guests), but it was charming. The thermal pool, which is in the central back court of the hotel, was warm and enjoyable. The sulphurous waters supposedly have therapeutic and curative powers (some... More
