We stayed here around 10th August 2014. Villa Tacchi is sent in the countryside and is 15km from Vicenza (Palladio country), within 30km of Padua, Cittadella, Marostica and Bassano del Grappa. An ideal place to stay when visiting these historic towns which are jammed packed with architectural and artistic delights of The Renaissance. Andrea Mantegna was born a short distance... More

The setting is unexpectedly set amidst a lot of industry and farmland. Very nice though. A good place to visit places with a lot of culture, history and architecture. The AC in the nicely furnitured room (the ceiling was painted as the sky) did not work, even not after the technician had repaired it. Lots of muscito bites came as... More

Villa Tacchi is a classical country mansion which has been well restored, extended and adapted to hotel and conference use. It still has the family chapel, barchessa, an ice-house and landscaped grounds. Our room was one of their more basic, yet perfectly adequate. Breakfast is self-service from a range of offerings from cereals to ham, cheese, eggs, cake and fruit.... More

This is lovely, a 18th century villa with old furniture and modern comfort. Some pretend it is a little bit far from the main roads, but it is just max. 10 minutes away from the exit Vicenza North and you can plan visits to Vicenza, Padova, Venice, Bassano and other smaller lesser known places in the "Veneto". Good breakfast according... More

Beautiful setting within it's own grounds, peaceful and pleasant to walk amongst the peacocks in the gardens. The old building is full of character and a change to all the standard templated hotel chains. The rooms are in keeping with the style of the hotel with antique style furniture adding to the charm. However the downside to this is that... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night in early December. The price was very reasonable for such a wonderful place. The room was large, almost huge for European standards, the bathroom had a spa tub. The restaurant had great food and very reasonable as well. Breakfast was abundant and service was prompt and courteous. Quality of the food... More

A truly delightful, hidden gem with great grounds and very comfortable rooms. The staff are top notch and go out of their way to assist. The breakfast room is a treat and the breakfast first rate, even though the egg cooker is a tad odd. It is out of the way and there are not a lot of great restaurants... More

We stayed 2 nights in autumn 2012; it was rather an undistinguished stay. Thrills: The hotel was located in its own gated park, in a sleepy rural area, thus it was very quiet there. The building was from the good old times, very elegant. The room had high ceilings and was well-soundproofed due to the quality of the building. There... More

Dear Gradiva, We really thank you for your write-up: it’s relevant that one of our customers remember us after one year from its stay. We appreciate you enjoyed the tranquility and silence of our Villa: that’s one of our strong points. We use this occasion to inform you that, from last April, the management has changed, and we have improved... More
