This place is perfect! It is a wonderful big landhouse in the middle of the beautiful tuscan hillsides. The house is clean, with terracotta floors and antique furniture. There is a huge garden with a pool where you can relax. You can use two living rooms and a kitchen. The staff a very nice and helpful!

This is a classic, beautiful old farmhouse set on beautiful grounds and overlooking stunning views of the countryside. Definitely a must stay if wanting a relaxing, quiet time. Breakfast was good just continental breakfast, hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, we stayed with family in the 3 bed house. Close to little town of San Rocco, where you... Its an old palazzo or countryhouse, 2 mins from a small town called San Rocco (no attractions there), 15 minutes by car to Siena and Monterriggionni. It is kind of a working farm, so nice views. Room was big, with old classic furniture, and bathroom was ok. Breakfast is basic. You should go here if you plan to be out... More

Went here in 2009 with my daughters. One daughter was living in Turkey and wanted to go somewhere during break that had sun and good wine. The grounds are beautiful. Courtyard overlooking a valley, cypress trees. We were there when the wine vines were dormant but everything was green and peaceful. The owner made her own wine and olive oil.... More

Fattoria di Cavaglione is located in the small village of San Rocco a Pilli, 20 minutes away from the city of Siena. If you want to really understand the Tuscany countryside this is a place you should visit. You will find yourself in a 1900?s cottage overlooking the wheat fields and in between a great variety of fruit tress. The... More

What a wonderful Tuscan week! So well located - an excellent base to travel around Tuscany. A perfect place to be with family and friends. One of the highlights of our stay was a cooking lesson organised for us all in the Villa. We sat down to a super meal after we had learnt the tricks of making crostini, fresh pasta,... More

A very relaxing 2-night stay that we wish we could stay longer. We opted for this Fattoria since we wanted to experience a unique Tuscan accommodation with picturesque surroundings and we weren't disappointed. This farmhouse is not too far from the centre of Siena and is very well kept. Rooms are basic but the highlight is the magnificent panoramic view... More

If you are looking for a place that is central to everything in Tuscany, look no further! My daughter and I used this as our base for traveling everywhere from San Gimignano to Montalcino, Panzano to Siena. The house is fantastic, we had a great view from our bedroom window, lovely walks around the grounds, and beautiful al fresco dinners... More

My sister and I stayed here in July 2013. After travelling through the major European cities, this was a perfect place to unwind and stop to smell the roses. There was hardly anyone else in the villa while we were there and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! We read books by the pool during the... More

Gorgeous location. Staff were not always at the front desk, but you could ring bell if needed. Amazing fresh-made croissants and bread for breakfast in the morning, hot out of the oven. Sound travels very easily between the rooms b/c it is an old building, so I would advise bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Directions to the... More
