Be prepared to pay for everything, many hidden fees. It started when we booked, we (luckily) changed our travel plans with three months in advance and shortened our stay. Right then the tone was set. Be aware to change the booking, it costs. When we arrived we found out that to be able to use the Wi-Fi in the houses... More

We stayed for a week in this resort in August. We had planned to stay for 2 weeks but luckily that changed, because we were fairly dissappointed. This resort is only for the Dutch and there is little effort made to welcome people from other countries. Majority of the staff only speak Dutch or German and everything is in Dutch.... More

I've just returned from a second visit to the Cochem Ferienresort and I must say I'm a bit dissapointed. The accomodation was good as always. Nice, spacious cottages with a small garden. Our cottage had a sauna, shower, separate bathroom, well equipped kitchen, etc... But I went back home with a feeling that this resort is on it's way down.... More

This is an excellent vacation park owned by "De Roompot", a Dutch company. The cottages are in German half-timbered style and are either detached or semi-detached and offer a lot of privacy. We booked a luxury cottage with washing utilities and a sauna. The houses for 6 persons are clean and comfortable, with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. We stayed... More

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Had a wonderful cottage, 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms a large kitchen and plenty possibility to sit outside. It depends a little where your cottage is when it comes to privacy. House was clean and well kept. Only negative during our stay was the reception. Very unexperienced employees, so it took forever.

Very clean, complete cottages on a big park. Everything looks well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a reasonably priced supermarket and a good deal of entertainment for all ages. A taxi will bring you to Cochem in 10 minutes for 3 euro a person. The park is full of Dutch people, which, excuse my bluntness, can... More

The resort still is rather new and we visited it now twice. It doesnot look attractive because mayby its too large, hardly any trees and lack of privacy. Its dominated by the Dutch and it doesnot feel beeing in Germany. The cottages though are comfortable and well equiped. For (a lot of) services extra fee is asked. Cleaningness not 100%.... More

This time I had rented a holiday home on the "Ferienresort Cochem" for a Pentecost weekend with family. I am not very familiar with this type of holiday resorts, where hundreds of holiday homes are located on the grounds; most of the time my holidays are spent in hotels, beach resorts or a holiday home, which is standing on its... This holiday park is situated next to a golf course. The park thus offers golf packages. It is part of the Roompot group and offers entertainment for children with "Rabbit Koos" and has a small indoor pool, a restaurant and bicyclerental. There are also luxury houses with sauna and Jacuzzi and big houses for complete families. The houses are built... More

First of all I would like to clear some things up here. Name: The resort goes with different names. It is called either "Ferienresort Cochem", "Golfresort Cochem" or "Ferien- und Golfresort Cochem". All is the same thing: a large resort built by a dutch company called Roompot (see also http://www.roompotparcs.com) Location: If you come by car and you are using... More
