Converted to a hotel. We found it clean and quirky. Our room had the attached bath on the 3rd floor. It had low ceilings, but a nice view. It was warm in the room and we couldn't adjust, also bed was too soft and springy for us. The bar was cool, and dinner excellent! Breakfast which was included also good.... More

We came to Kilmartin to see the fascinating places around and managed to book a room through late rooms for the Kilmartin hotel. As there three of us ask for a triple room ( the winter room) and got a fabulous huge double room with adjoining twin bedroom with en suite shower and toilet. Great space for families. Staff were... My Husband booked a two night stay in this charming friendly country hotel for us both and our two teenage children. On arrival, we were shown to the Winter room which was an upgrade to the one we had booked, we were pleasantly surprised to realise that this was a large comfortable two bed roomed space that was more like... Whenever we stay in Kilmartin Glen we always have a meal at the Kilmartin Hotel. In the past everything has been fine and we have never had any complaints. However on our last visit, that sadly all changed. We arrived ordered drinks and opted to sit in the bar until our order was taken and our table was ready. We... More

This time the circumstances of our visit to Argyll meant that we stayed in Kilmartin for two nights instead of the usual overnight stop. That made it twice as good. The proprietor and his staff were as welcoming and friendly as ever and our room was warm, spotless and very comfortable. They are clearly establishing a reputation for their food... More

Spent one great night at the Hotel and we had the 'Summer' bedroom with amazing views over the Church and beyond. The Room was warm and cosy, just what we needed on a cold March night. We had some drinks in the bar before dinner which was very relaxing, we ordered dinner and they came and took us through to... More

I was really disappointed that in such a lovely location, the hotel was so run down. Staff were friendly but the room was depressing and in great need of refurbishment. Food was of pub grub standard. If you are visiting the area, I would recommend you look elsewhere for accommodation.
