Although Isobel's B&B has had wide acclaim on Trip Advisor, we found it to be less than excellent. 1. They forgot our booking. Fortunately (or rather, unfortunately as you'll read) the attached "cottage" was available. 2. The stairs in the cottage to the bedroom are very steep and narrow, with the bathroom being downstairs. 3. The shower is rather quaint,... More

I have been to Kilmartin on several occasions in the past but never stayed. In July this year my husband and I, and two very dear friends, stayed at Rosebank, which was previously the home and business of my Grandfather and Great Grandfather - Alexander Ross. Given the chance to sleep in Room 12 or 14, without real knowledge of... More

Unfortunately, we haven't managed to visit Rosebank this year. We go every year, usually in April/May. The warmth of Isobel and Tommy is second to none. Fantastic location. Great breakfasts. Nothing is too much trouble. House and cottages are truly unique! Hope we can get there before summer (?) is over this year. Hello to you both! Joan and Neil.

What can I say that hasn't been said before! This was our 3d visit and we stayed in one of the cottages this time. Perfect! Any family with children need have no fear. There are lots of games, books and toys for all to enjoy. T.v. and books and local travel info too. Garden with sunbeds to enjoy (if sun... More

What a lovely place. Excellent facilities and a very warm welcome. Couldn't be better. We are on a cycling holiday. The b&b is on the quiet main road. Good pub just three doors down. All wonderful Met another nice group doing the same route

Four fifty something men arrived at Rosebank soaked through after travelling on bicycles from Taynuilt. Isobel greeted us with a warm welcome and a hearty breakfast the next morning. The rooms were clean, warm & cosy. There was secure storage for the bikes. Thank you Isobel for forwarding on a phone charger left behind when we departed the next day.

We had arrived in April and spent most of our day at the Kilmartin House Museum and exploring the Glen. When we arrived Isobel greeted us very warmly and told us that unfortunately her furnace had broken down and they had sent her the wrong part! For us it was not a big problem at all and she moved us... More

Arrived absolutely drenched after cycling from tarbert on what must have been the wettest Saturday in July. Isobel gave us a very warm welcome and assisted us put our bikes into a secure garage area and was not phased as we left extremely wet cycling gear in the hallway. Isobel booked us into the local hotel for an evening meal... More

We stayed in the Dovecote during June 2014 which is a 2 bedroom self-catering apartment. The apartment was very clean and also included a new flat screen TV (handy for watching the 2014 World Cup). Isobel was the perfect hostess during our time there. She was very welcoming and accommodating. Thanks Isobel for a wonderful stay! It was the perfect... More

Isobel has made this a great place to stay and explore the magical, almost mystical area of Kilmartin. As we descended into the glen we almost expected to see Gandalf striding along the road!. Lovely room, spotlessly clean and a great breakfast. Thanks
